Driving at 15.5 years old on a school permit that was free. Drvers ed is free in the US. When i turned 16 i got licensed immediately.
Post modernists are trying to shut down any convieniance we used to take for granted. Drive thrus are under attack not for any real reason but any imagined reasons they can think of.
Driver's education doesn't exist in high schools anymore. At least not around here. You have to pay for the classes now.
Yes, drivers ed is a class
My husband played football and was a pianist in high school. He said it was great! If the girls liked the football players, he had them. If the girls were more romantically inclined, he has his romantic songs to play. There is a jacket called a "letter jacket," which you got after a certain amount of time playing the sport, as well as other rules such as, you had to have played a certain number of games all the way through to "letter." If a girl wore your letter jacket, it meant you were going "steady." My husband said his proudest moment in high school was watching two girls fighting in the dirt for his letter jacket. And this was in the 1950's, when girls, especially in the South, were ladies. Their parents very likely punished them for such vulgar and disrespectful behavior.
We do drive on the right side so I dont think your see it for what it is
At Costco they also have an eatery with really cheap hotdogs and pizzas and theyāre good
Right turn on red is like youāre stopping at a stop sign you donāt go unless itās clear
Drivers license used to be able to be free in school not anymore
YouTube is fucking with you Iāve subscribed to your channel over five times and every time I check Iām not subscribed
You have to admit that Mrs. Browns Boys was hilarious. lol I learned how to drive at 13 in the middle of the mall parking lot in the middle of the night. I think my license when I actually went and got one was $25 not saying how many years I drove without one lol Personalized plates vary per state. Here in Wyoming I think it was $75 but most of the ones I looked at in Florida when I lived there were $35-$50
Iāve been through a drive through liquor store, we even have drive through wedding chapels. Also donāt punish the drive throughs and the people being responsible. They should revoke the license of the distracted drivers. My doctors office calls the prescription into my pharmacy so I can pick it up on my way home!
The only reason you have drive thu's in the UK is because of the American Companies introducing you to it. Now most Companies just deliver it. Lewis you need to leave the house and see the world around you. Europe is still in the last
Century. The variety of diffent foods and products in Ameria is vass
I think itās more common to know what u want to do in school or have some idea. I remember my cousin, who is the same age, was a bit panicked bc she didnāt know, when everyone else around her did.
Pharmacist here in U.S. She is describing the old way of doing scripts here. Now days, every pharmacy in my state has to be able to receive electronic scripts from the doctor. It saves the nurses and pharmacists time to not have to send the scripts verbally by phone, and the pharmacist doesn't have to call the doctor to clarify the atrocious handwriting. Win-Win.
I couldnāt help LMAO at the comment about electronic prescriptions versus paper prescriptions, what do you people think we did before computersā¦???Yeah paper. š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
About the Driver's ed. Only about half of the states in the US require driver's education, the other half basically just requires that you practice and do not check to see if you actually practiced. It is usually assumed you are practicing with parents.
$10 bucks extra…for special plate in registration
We must put back trades and self enhancement classes. All must take home economics, plumbing/mechanics/electric
I watch pbs to watch brit shows .scarlet and the duke, all creatures xx, a mystery show, and utube, to watch a soap in France, Australia
I went to a private high school, so we had to pay for a local drivers class. I donāt remember the cost since itās been so long. But yes – we had a teacher who took us driving and taught us. Then you have to take the test at the state agency to get your actual license, and you do pay for that.
Personalized license plates cost an extra $35 every year, plus a one time manufacturing fee when you order your plate, also $35 (in the state of Georgia, where I live). The only thing you pay for your drivers license is the fee when you get it or renew it, and itās gone up to $32, but itās good for 8 years. You can also get a learnerās license before you take your test, and that only costs $10.
I dont like this lady and think her videos are garbage. I dont know where she has been in the US but it's definitely different from anywhere I've ever been. Ive been to France 3 times and the people i encountered were the rudest people I've ever met. Never again.
The entertainment thing is funny to me because British tv is pretty popular here. Doctor Who, to name one, is very popular. Great British baking, Downtown Abby, ect.
And yes, highschoolers can take a driver's class. It's optional, though. And it was an after school class. I took it and it wasn't free but it was only 50$.
We can personalize our plates, but they do have rules about it. It can't be derogatory or a slur for example. Here in Wisconsin it's an extra 15$ a year with registration
Where I live they would teach us how to drive during the summer at school if you passed the written test. The football coach was the one that would be with us. We also got a boating license.
IT'S LIKE THAT IN USA ALSO in small stores you must spend$10 ..
The cc companies charge $1-2 for EVERY TRANSACTION is why small businesses must do this.
We can usually write a check for so much over or with the card you use.
Right on red UNLESS there's a sign that says NO RIGHT ON RED or no turn on red.. so must look up at the light to see if a sign is hanging on the line up there saying you can't.. or a sign on right side of road telling you no
Yeah it's called driver's Ed. Free. And they had special cars for it. If you failed. It couldn't get licensed till you were 18. William s
YES. Driver add it's free. I took an in school when I was 16. It was free. I had to pay for my license at the DMV. That's it. William s
I love your videos, always good fun and positive.
We now have you order what you want from the store and pay for them over the phone and they go pick the items up and you come and park your car and they bring them out and load them in your vehicle for you
I actually watch quite a bit of TV series from the UK and imho mainstream series in the UK are superior.
My driver's ed in-class instruction was free, but on the road driving instruction was not free.
Umm… Don't think we have drive-thru baby nurseries… but damn.. I think you just gave me a damn good Idea!! Time to make some money!! LMAO
Sounds like sheās from the South, so things are a little different from my experience in NJ.
In NJ, you now have to go to a private company for the behind wheel portion, but driver theory was part of high school curriculum.
