Title: I use it for everything.
Review: This brush set is a real gem! The bamboo handles are beautiful and feel sturdy, and the synthetic bristles are incredibly soft on my skin. Title: Lots of brushes
Review: I needed some new makeup brushes, so I hopped on Amazon. My search revealed many sets of brushes, some containing 15 to 20 brushes. One set had 42 brushes! If you are not a professional makeup artist, I cannot see why you would want that. This set contained 11 brushes… still more than I need, but it had a nice variety of shapes and styles, so I can pick and choose. There are so many that I will let some live permanently in my travel bag. I like the natural look of the bamboo handles and the price was good. They came with a little organza bag, which is cute so I put them in it, but I won’t actually use it for the brushes. They seem to be good quality, so I am happy with my purchase.

Review: I don’t love them, I don’t hate them. Figured if I even found just a couple out of the bunch that work well, then I would have gotten my monies worth. (UPDATE! I have gotten to where I love these. I included a more detailed update at end of original review)Bought this set of brushes on a whim. I don’t spend much time applying make up. I don’t often wear make up! However, I am dabbling in make up again, and with the new formulations and the different needs of my skin, I figured I needed more brushes and applicators than I currently have, which are from MAC cosmetics purchased a decade or so ago! I really didn’t want to spend much, so I saw these and thought to give them a try. Again, I figure even if I only end up liking 1-2 brushes out of the entire pack, that is still better than some of the prices for one out there.Unlike other reviewers, my brushes DID NOT have a smell to them. These brushes come in a bag, and they all fit right back in there. From the little I have used of the brushes, so far no shedding, but I haven’t given them a full work out nor have I washed any of them yet. I wanted to use a brush to apply cream eye shadow, and I thought the brush I selected was going to be too soft, yet it worked out just fine. I think I chose the shorter haired of the options. The rest seem too long, fluffy and soft for confident make up application. I am still skeptical that these brushes may be too soft, but time and experimentation will tell me more. I would like to see a firmer angle brush for eyeliner and precision application. As well as a less fluffy soft angle brush for eye shadow blending. I have used the larger, squat brushes for powder and blending, and they seem alright. Better than expected for feeling almost too soft. The large slightly angled brush does a fine job for blush.I haven’t gotten the handles wet yet, but it is bound to happen when I go to wash the bristles. I am concerned that the smooth handle will lose its protective coating and feel all scratchy. I am not looking to sacrifice one quite yet to figure this out. If over a period of time these brushes are used more and hold up to use, then I will adjust my rating for the better. Just as I will do so if I learn any more, or find they are not as good as the current 3 star rating.UPDATE!!: As promised, I would come back if I learn anything new. I have been using these for several months now, and have washed my brushes several times (of course). I have put these brushes through the paces, and they are holding up splendidly. I have learned that I like a few of these brushes very much (got a few favorites), especially for applying liquid make up. Where I once thought the brushes seemed too soft, they are actually quite effective. No shedding, no break down of handles, washes well, and feels like new every time. For the price, the variety (they have other sets available), and the quality, I am much more impressed than my initial experience with them. Raising my rating!

Title: Huge value!
Review: I don’t wear makeup often. I really only needed one fluffy brush for some hair powder I got. However shopping for one, I couldn’t pass up this deal where you get everything for equal or less than you could pay for one brush! They are so well made. Solid handles, smooth, no smells, dense soft brushes. I’m not kidding when I say I hand washed all of these upon arrival and only one bristle shed! Fantastic! Came with storage bag and the box has a nice picture guide that I saved so the once or twice a year I try to wear eye shadow I won’t have to use the plastic sponge wand again! I think it could be fun to try more makeup now that I have nice tools.

Review: I have sensitive skin and must take extreme care with everything that touches my face. They are quite soft, wash easily and of good quality, they have not broken or lost bristles yet.

Title: Surprisingly nice!
Review: Honestly so surprised at the quality of these. I’m glad I went for it. I needed new brushes but couldn’t afford anything fancy. I love the different sizes and densities of the brushes and they apply powder VERY well. Haven’t tried to apply anything liquid with them yet but I’m sure they’ll do well.

Title: Good set of brushes but a bit confusing. Individual labels needed
Review: At least 2 of the brushes seem mislabeled to me. I’m no expert but I think the “small concealer brush” should be actually smaller than the one labeled “concealer brush”? Yet the it’s not. Also, a couple of the brushes seem identical. All in all the bristles are great and the brushes don’t look cheap — dense but not too dense and still soft. I think I’ll end up using certain brushes for multiple purposes because some of them seem interchangeable. Wish the brushes were individually labeled. Overall it’s a good set at a reasonable price.

Review: I can see why this is Amazon’s best selling brush set … It’s FANTASTIC! I gifted the kabuki and angled foundation brush to my sister and she likes them as much as her IT Cosmetics brushes. I love the pointed powder brush, ALL the eye brushes and the sponge is excellent, too. The handles are solid bamboo, the bristles are soft yet dense. The only brush I don’t use is the flat top kabuki, because the bristles aren’t dense enough to apply mineral powder. These are sturdy, very well made and will likely last for years. I highly recommend.
