Title: Works Great for My Daughter’s Hair!
Review: I bought the Cream for my daughter’s hair, and it works really well! It moisturizes and defines her curls without making them feel heavy or greasy. Her hair stays soft, bouncy, and frizz-free throughout the day.The scent is nice but not overpowering, and a little goes a long way. Definitely a great product for curly hair! Will be repurchasing.

Title: Love this product!
Review: I have mid-back length fine, combination curly and wavy hair. It is prone to tangles, puffiness and getting weighed down near the roots (because of how fine it is). I tried this on a whim, not expecting much, and I love it! For me it works the same whether I apply it to damp or dry hair. It seems to work to refresh curls when the hair is already dry. I don’t need very much, maybe a quarter size amount. It does not get stiff at all. And it also doesn’t get greasy or heavy, even with a few days between washes. I’m not sure if just rinsing my hair gets all the product out, but it seems to. The texture is nice and the smell is awesome! I’m normally not a fan of sweet smelling products but this smells like lemon cake in the best way possible, and it’s not overpowering. The product is not tested on animals and also pretty inexpensive for quality hair care. I will continue to use this and would recommend trying it.

Title: Great results, not so great smell
Review: I’ve really enjoyed the results I’ve gotten using this product! My curls have looked great! But, the smell is not my favorite. It is a “lemon meringue” scent—I wish it was either a lemon or vanilla. Not a deal breaker for me, but I won’t be repurchasing once it’s used up.

Title: Makes my hair Frizzy!
Review: I love the look and smell of this product. I wanted it to work for my hair so bad, but for some reason it makes my hair more frizzy. I even bought the leave in conditioner and the curl mousse. It just does not work for my hair. I have very very very thick coarse curly hair. The product feels great and when my hair is wet it looks good, but by the time it dries I am a huge frizzy mess.

Review: best curl cream ever made. i am very very very picky about curl creams so this means a lot coming from me. my entire life i’ve tried probably every curl cream and they always make my hair stiff (like i sprayed hair spray or sum in it ew), or just don’t dry well. this one works soooo well for my curly hair and gives me the most perfect ringlets when it dries and DOES NOT dry stiff. and my curls have MOTION AND MOVEMENT and feel so soft. like sorry for the long review but i put everyone in my life on to this!

Title: worst smelling product
Review: I purchased this product line hoping after reading most of the reviews it would be great. I got the package and it had leaked all over everything in the box. I thought it smelled a little on the weird and herbal side. Used it and felt it had great slip, and seemed like it did a good job of keeping the frizz down and defining the curls, but… that smell was a bit more beyond herbal and I felt it was just not worth it to move forward. All three products had the herbal bad garden smell. I thought maybe with my sensitive nose my daughter would like it. She told me she had tried it, and it is supposed to smell like frosting. Ok if that is true that is some really off frosting and I suggest you run far far away. She also said she had her products go smelly as well, and it was like a rotten weed smell. I let the stuff sit at the edge of the tub for a week and told myself maybe I am just too sensitive, picked up took a smell and for sure it was much much worse. I will not purchase this product again. I would not suggest it to anyone, if it is unstable enough to go bad like that it is a sign it is not good for anyone. I was really hoping it would be good, but no.

Review: I really love Cake beauty brand. The hair products are really good on my curls. I was using (Marc Anthony curls) before and I just didn’t like my hair feeling crunchy after using the hair cream. I found cake defining curl cream was much better for my ringlet curls. This shampoo won’t give you curls. This is a shampoo made for super tight ringlet curly hair and it helps protect beautiful lock curls.

Review: Best curl cream I’ve found for my hair. For reference my hair is pretty damaged (it gets dyed often), it’s fine but there’s lots of it. Naturally it either curls into ringlets, wildly frizzes, falls into loose waves or hangs somewhat straight. Unfortunately, it usually does all of that at once unless I’ve wrangled into some semblance of order with hair products.Curl Friend actually can make even my wild hair look pretty great! With this, I get nice curls that hold pretty well, even without gel or mouse as long as it’s not going to get windblown, rained on or touched a lot. Plus it keeps it soft, shiny, frizz free and it’s vegan!My Method:In the shower I rinse the conditioner out with my head flipped upside down, then scrunch out most of the water (head still upside down), then scrunch in some of this cream and plop my hair into a microfibre hair turban towel.I leave it in the towel for a few minutes to remove excess moisture then gently remove the towel (head upside down again), then flip my head up and gently (GENTLY!) arrange any curls that are out of place (falling into my eyes or sticking straight up or out for example). Sometimes I’ll add a tiny bit more curl cream if there are still frizzy bits sticking out or if the ends feel dry, then let it air dry without touching it further.I know that sounds like most of the product ends up on the towel, and I’m sure some does, but this is the best method I’ve found to wrangle these unruly curls into order.Honestly, this stuff is my holy grail of hair products! It’s vegan, my hair seems to love this stuff and it smells heavenly!
