CF Foundation | Supporting Your Adolescent’s Mental Health During COVID-19

Helping your child cope with the uncertainty and isolation of the pandemic can be tough, but you are not alone. This event brought together parents and caregivers in the CF community to discuss adolescents and emotional well-being in the time of COVID-19. Experts highlighted the range of emotions kids and teens may be experiencing during this time, strategies to support a child’s emotional wellness, and tips for talking a child about their emotions.

Please note, this event includes mentions of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Participant discretion is advised. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or considering suicide, or in need of emotional support, please contact your physician or call 911. You can also call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or text the Crisis Text Line (text HELLO to 741741).
