1. Give them a chance (Nick Foles)
2. The committee ranking Georgia 6th takes away Alabamaβs βBestβ win. If they value the rankings enough before the conference championships then they should have not dropped Georgia back so far.
3. You could make a case that Georgia is better than Washington. Their best wins are over a trash Bo Nix whole Georgia has dominated for four years going back to Auburn. Also Penix is overrated. Jayden for heisman πͺπΌ
So like, do we just not talk about strength of schedule anymore? FSU had the 55th strongest. Alabama was 6th, Texas was 2nd. Texas lost to Oklahoma, which had the 6th toughest schedule. From where I sit, Alabama losing to a school with such a tough schedule looks way better than the relative cakewalk FSU had to get to the ACC championship.
Also, I don't see how this does anything to invalidate the confrence champions as the playoff format next year is explicitly designed to heighten the prestige of winning a power 5.
The right thing to do is put FSU at 4, but apparently being undefeated doesn't freaking matter does it Bryce? They have a better record…PERIOD thats it!
The ACC should protest this outrageous decision to exclude FSU. ACC Presidents and Coaches: Boycott the Bowls!
It's not rigged, it's corrupt. ESPN/ABC is so in bed with SEC, they influence everything with college football.
You had 3 undefeated power conference teams and 2 others with a a head-to-head record. This was the easiest decision ever and they blew it.
