Title: Best blowdryer ever.
Review: My hair is really long and thick, so I used to never blow dry it because it would just take too long. BUT this is a game changer. I got it around 4 years ago and it is the best blowdryer I have ever tried. My hair used to take at least 45 minutes to blow dry. Now it takes 10. TEN MINUTES. And I have a lot of hair. It is a miracle. Personally, I think it’s better than the blowdryers used at hair salons.It’s super fast and it doesn’t make my hair frizzy at all (I have naturally frizzy hair). I’ll be done with my hair in ten minutes and look like I just had a professional blow out. Cannot recommend this enough.This may be a hot take, but I think it’s as good as a dyson. Just a lot more affordable. I’ve used both and tbh I prefer this one.The only issue I had is that I always wrap up the cord really tight, even though I know I’m not supposed to… and after 4 years the cord broke. But I think if you don’t bend the cord so much, it will last you a long time. I love it so much that right after I broke it I just went on my phone and ordered it again.

Review: Update – Four and a half years after purchasing this blowdryer, it still runs perfectly. Money well spent. I will definitely buy this brand again when the time comes that I need a new one.After about a week of debating and looking at blow dryer after blow dryer I decided to spend the extra money on a good one. I am so glad I took the plunge! This blow dryer is exceptional. Well worth the price. I have purchased other Farouk CHI products in the past and have never been disappointed. This is no exception.One of my favorite features is the ‘cool’ setting button. Once you press it, the air stays cool. You do not have to keep pressing it like other blow dryers. Once your done with the cool setting, press it again for hot air.This product is a little heavier than other dryers I have had in the past but I got the hang of it after a couple of uses. It dries my hair in about half the time and eliminates the frizz.If you are ok with splurging a bit, I would definitely recommend this dryer.

Title: The best for frizzy, fine hair
Review: I got a Chi Rocket hair dryer because I went out of town, forgot mine and had to borrow one. OMG! This sounds silly, but this dryer has changed my frizzy, untamed, wavy long hair into hair I love. Any hint of humidity in the air at all turns my fine, limp hair into a frizz ball. I’ve struggled between drying it with a dryer and mostly being too lazy to do that the majority of my life. Hair drying was always a time consuming process that made my hair lose all volume and just never seemed worth my time since my hair would frizz right back up after drying.This dryer is a game changer! It dries SO fast, it’s ultra quiet and it leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I could never have nice looking hair without a huge time investment. And even then, it wasn’t worth it because my frizz is just too persistent. This hair dryer is the solution to my hair needs and I’d buy another in a heartbeat if this one has any problems.

Review: This is a great hair dryer; however, the company really needs to rethink and correct where the switches are located. You hand knocks the hot to cold and vice versa or on/off when straightening with constant movements and repositioning hand. It’s a major problem!

Title: Lives up to high expectations
Review: I bought this hair dryer because my stylist uses it. So, I had first hand experience with it from the other side of the gun. All in all, it has been great in the 4 months I’ve used it so far. I have little girls, whose hair I dry, so its important that it is quiet, so I can have conversations with them, and it is fast, so they don’t get too impatient and run out of the bathroom before their hair is dry. It gets very hot, so be careful. It is truly a professional product and needs to be treated as such. I noticed the effect of the ionization at first, but perhaps I’m used to it now, so it doesn’t seem like a big deal anymore. In any case, this this works extremely well, and the price was also very good, particularly when compared to the other “pro” quality dryers out there. I’m very pleased with it, and the only remaining question is the reliability. When shopping around, a salesperson in NYC disparaged the motor in the CHI as unrepairable. We shall see.Update: Its now the end of November 2010 and it is working great. No change in performance. Still putting out a TON of heat. Usage is down somewhat, from 3x per day to 1x per day as of 2 months ago, since my family doesn’t share it anymore.Update 2: At Feb 2013, its still going strong.

Title: Might be the best purchase of my life.
Review: Background: I live in South Carolina. I have thick hair that will frizz at the thought of rain. The longest layer in my hair is right above my waist. It normally takes me well over a half hour to dry my hair with a regular hair dryer. That doesn’t include the breaks to keep from sweating and causing my hair to curl up. For big nights or special events, I would normally go to a salon to get a good blow out.So, I called my hairdresser who can give the best blow out. She said she used this brand. I decided on the Rocket after doing some researching.Now, I’ve blow my hair out a couple times. Absolutely fabulous. a. It takes not nearly the amount of time it used to. b. I only got a little hot at the very end when my hair was all down. c. not heavy at all and easy to manage for a 15 minute blow out. d. my hair stays the way I dried it.In my opinion, absolutely worth the money. Even if it breaks like the other reviews say, I’ll do it again.2013 Update: This hair dryer is still going strong. I still believe it is one of my best purchases ever.

Review: Hot and cold air switch works perfect (don’t need to hold it while some other dryers still do). Air is steady not too hot so I don’t feel the anxiety it may damage my hair. I have old model CHI dryer and I definitely would buy this model again once the old one dies.
