Title: Hydrates and stays on!
Review: Finally found a hydrating lip gloss with staying power. I get frustrated at the current options available on the market because, while they all add shine for the 5 minutes they stay on your lips, none of them actually hydrate your lips. In fact many of them seem to zap moisture right out of them, leaving my always-dry lips feeling worse than before I used the gloss. The lip glosses that everyone called “sticky” were the only ones that did anything to hydrate my lips, and it’s unfortunate that so many cosmetic companies have changed their formulas to the lower quality, drying, greasy waste of money that they all push now. I have been looking desperately to find a replacement for my last tube of Clinique long wear lip gloss, as it’s almost empty and I was starting to panic, thinking I was doomed to a world of useless “lip butters” and “lip oils” that I have to reapply 17 times a day. I suppose I’m in the minority of women who want the “sticky” lip glosses back (pleeeease!)I’ve seen this City Lips lip gloss on Instagram so many times and ignored it, figuring it was no different from all the other junk out there right now. But there’s a new version of the ad now that made me take a second look and finally pull the trigger. It’s a significant price tag, so I was a little nervous, but I was not disappointed. While this gloss is not quite as “sticky” as my trusty Clinique, it still has similar staying power, and it feels at least equally hydrating. I’ve only had it for one day, but I already know I’ve found my new favorite, and as long as they don’t change formula, I’m a lifer. I’m in my mid 40’s so my lips are not as smooth as they once were. This gloss does help plump up the little natural creases in my lips. The effect is subtle, but at my age every little bit matters. And I appreciate that I personally don’t feel any tingle or burning when I put it on. There is a bit of an odd smell to it while I apply it, but it seems to dissipate quickly afterwards, and it tastes slightly sweet, not perfumy like other glosses I’ve had the displeasure of trying out. The tube is pretty large, so I feel like I’m getting a lot for the price. It’s noticeably larger than the old Clinique tube. Love, love, love it. Don’t change a thing. Please.

Title: Loads of color & shine
Review: I loved that the color was bolder than expected and so shiny! I ordered the clear gloss the next day. I can tell my lips are more hydrated and smoother than before. I don’t know how much “plump” you really get overall, but the color lasts a long time and the product isn’t sticky on your lips. I’m looking forward to seeing the long term benefits.

Review: Didn’t really work for me. I could feel the tingle sensation, but, as far as plumping the lips, I didn’t see much of a difference. My lips were quite smooth, therefore, they looked better and maybe a bit more plump. However, this didn’t do as it said. I gave it 2 stars because it is a nice gloss.

Title: It’s working!
Review: I bought the tinted version and i love it! I’ve only had it a few days and my lips are moist, smooth and slightly plumper. I didn’t have very thin lips, but starting to see signs of lines so thought I’d see what could be done about it. I think this will do the job!
