The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 – September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. Funny story, when I was 15 in the early 70s I made it to the finals in a local tennis tournament. When mom saw my name in the draw she was so happy she almost passed out. If I had won something that big she would have lost it!

On the news here in south florida,coco's grandmother has been a regular talking about her grandaughter.The grandmother will always say,I am waiting for her to call,etc. When coco picked up her phone after she won,I said to myself,the phone companies just made a big money advertisement opportunity! I am so tickled for this family!!!😅❤
