For all the ceaseless attacks by toxic Filipino fans about how Miss Thailand 2019 and 2020 were such terrible copycats of copyCATriona Gray, even though all their dresses are vastly different, it’s karmic to see in fact it’s Philippines that are the worst culprits as far as imitations are concerned. Philippines dresses in 2015 and 2017 have the exact same silhouettes as Australia 2014 and Mexico 2016. And yet those are the people that cry wolf the loudest. Hypocrites. There is nothing wrong with inspiration. It happens all the time with fashion. Just STFU about your dress being the one that Thailand is dying to imitate year after year. Even though copyCATriona’s dress is in itself “inspired” or an IMITATION of Miss Grand International Thailand’s 2016 dress. Losers. I’m not even Thai but I know exactly who a bigger copycat is.

As a designer, you understand that gown shapes and styles are just fashions from the decades previously but just modified a lil. So saying that people copy isn't really a thing unless the dress was the exact same colour and style. Other then that all these dress styles were created before most of us living were born.
