Carmel, IN – On Sunday, November 2, 2014, Kassidy Tharp of Shelburn was named MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2015 & Gretchen Reece of North Vernon was named MISS INDIANA USA® 2015. They were crowned at the conclusion of the two-day MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® & MISS INDIANA USA® Pageant, which was held at the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel in Carmel, IN.
MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2015
Kassidy Tharp is the 5’7”, hazel-eyed daughter of Chuck and Kami Tharp. Kassidy and her parents reside in Shelburn, Indiana. A senior at Sullivan High School, Kassidy is a member of the Spanish Club, Key Club and Beta Club. She is also involved with Wabash Valley Habitat for Humanity, Humane Shelter of Sullivan County, and the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis. She enjoys watching football, modeling, and staying active. Her strongest talent is vocal performance; singing is something she truly loves. Kassidy plans to obtain a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Epidemiology. It is her goal to provide her patients with the necessary resources to live a happy and healthy life. Kassidy describes herself as vivacious, driven, and courageous.
Crowned by Zoe Parker, MISS INDIANA TEEN USA® 2014, Kassidy will represent Indiana at the MISS TEEN USA® 2015 Pageant.
The remainder of the “Top 5” included: First Runner-up Alexandra Dallas of Angola, Second Runner-up Anna Garry of Greenwood, Third Runner-up Molly Gilles of Newburgh and Fourth Runner-up Lauren Boswell of Fishers.
The Semi-finalists were: Rachelle Kassebnia of Carmel, Lindsey Bermingham of Munster of Chalmens, Cecily Pedregon of Browsburg, Chase Infiniti Payne of Indianapolis and Holyn Huizinga of Greenwood.
Holyn Huizinga was named Miss Photogenic and Molly Gilles of was voted Miss Congeniality.
MISS INDIANA USA® 2015
Gretchen Reece is the 5’8”, blue-eyed daughter of Doug and Sue Reece of North Vernon, Indiana. She is a graduate of Jennings County High School and Butler University. Gretchen is a motivational speaker in schools for Preventing Destructive Decisions and is the Vice President of Students Against Destructive Decisions. She is also a member of the National Speech/Language/Hearing Association and the Director of the Music at Epsilon Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi. She enjoys showing horses, fitness and wellness, spending time with friends and family, and reading historical non-fiction. As a career-oriented woman her dream is to work in a pediatric healthcare facility as a speech-language pathologist specializing in fluency disorders. She wants to balance a career with the comfort and support of a family, and continue to be involved in pageants as a volunteer. Gretchen describes herself as charismatic, passionate, and ambitious.
Crowned by Mekayla Diehl, MISS INDIANA USA® 2014, Gretchen will represent Indiana in the MISS USA® 2015 Pageant, which will be televised on the NBC television network.

The Semi-finalists were: Autumn Cole of Chesterton, Katrina Giannini of Evansville, Zarah Mumaw of Lafayette, McKenzie Shevlot of Indianapolis and Kaiti Cooper of West Lafayette.
