This hair dryer and its revolutionary diffuser have been designed specifically with the needs of wavy, curly and coily people in mind. We know that drying your curls is a long, annoying chore, so we developed the technology with curl specific needs in mind, to make it as easy as possible. The diffuser is a huge 8″, so it covers more hair at the same time. It has an even airflow that helps keep frizz to a minimum. The dryer provides even, gentle heat to minimize damage. It even has prongs at the back, so you don’t have to hold it while using it!

HOW TO USE

PIXIE DIFFUSING

MAKES YOUR CURL PATTERN TIGHTER AND BOUNCIER

Flip your head upside down. Cup your hair into the diffuser bowl and hold for a couple of seconds close to your scalp. If you have very long or thick hair, work one section at a time. Contine in sections, flipping your hair in different directions to encourage movement, until the whole head is dry. Great for Wavy Hair.

HOVER DIFFUSING

SETS CURLS IN PLACE AND MINIMIZES FRIZZ

Flip your head upside down. Hover the diffuser around your head, without touching the curls. Start close to the roots and then proceed towards the lengths. Flip your hair in different directions to encourage movement. When almost dry, cup the hair into the diffuser bowl and scrunch close to the roots to make curls tighter. Great for Curly Hair.

STRETCH DIFFUSING

STRETCHES CURL PATTERN TO ELONGATE CURLS

Start by hover diffusing close to your roots, then divide your hair in sections. Gently pull a section of your hair and dry with the diffuser close to the central part. Hold the dryer still, otherwise you might encourage frizz. Keep the diffuser on one section for a few seconds, then move to the next one. Return to a previous section and repeat to elongate even more. Great for Coily Hair.

Review: I love this diffuser and blow dryer. The diffuser is huge and my hair dries pretty quickly. When wet, my hair is to my collar bone. This diffuser takes about the same time as my Laifen, which is 15-20 minutes but it has 3 lower heat settings and air settings that are meant for curly hair. I get the same dry time with lower heat. I wasn’t sure if I was going to love it, but I do. When I travel, I do take my Laifen and its diffuser because it is smaller. I am so glad I bought this for home use!

Review: It took me forever to finally buy it. I watch GinaMarie Curly hair videos and she uses it. I was afraid it would be to heavy and bulky. It is expensive so not something I would do lightly. Finally, Amazon had a good sale on it for Prime day. I always buy something special for Prim day and have loved everything I bought. Plus with with Amazon it’s easy to return if I didn’t like it. Well, I fell in love with it. It is lighter than the one I had been using. The big diffuser head is great. Catches more hair more easily. The temp control is perfect, 3 temp choices and 2 speeds. So once again my prime day choice was a winner!

Title: Electrical problems
Review: I initially gave this a 5 star review after using it twice and being so impressed! It significantly slashed my drying time by 70% – I have long, thick, curly hair. Unfortunately, during the third use – I started hearing a popping sound and smelling burnt plastic. Hairdryer began smoking so I quickly turned it off. I live in New Zealand so I made sure to use a transformer and voltage converter plug. I have bought other American appliances with same voltage (60 Hz) that work fine on these, never had problems. Tested the power point and it was fine. The safety buttons on the plug of this hairdryer also did nothing – safety light never flashed when the Hairdryer began making popping sounds and smoking – I checked throughout. Instructions say light will start flashing if it’s not safe to use. It has cost me around $100 USD to post it back from New Zealand to Amazon for return (that’s over half the price of the hairdryer!!) If I buy another one (with Amazon refund) and pay for shipping again the total cost will be over $500 USD which is NUTS. Really disappointed. Was so excited to use it and waited months to purchase!!
