  1. I know a lot peoples not happy about we has pay to watch MU but time had changed . would we want people using free stuff for many years and not say anything? but I know we have so many poor countries not able buy foods but as time MU they can share with so much someday door will. be close if MU dont starting charging they needed to make money some how. I am not right but I am wrong that's just me in my view.

  2. I really don’t understand how a girl can go to miss universe and have absolutely no sponsors. If girls can get sponsors for their state pageant here in the US I don’t understand why small countries aren’t able to get sponsors for a stage like Miss universe. Also If you don’t have the money to be competitive at the pageant you’re essentially going just to participate. I would personally wait till I was financially able to go. I’ve seen girls prepare for their state and local pageants by working with runway coaches from other countries and getting the best in the industry to design their gown and they aren’t even going to a national competition. So I just don’t accept the small country excuse. Pageantry is not a cheap sport. If you’re going to be competitive be competitive.

  3. Ms. Danny, if you could run for a state pageant and Miss USA 🇺🇸 pageant, you would win. You would do well at an international competition. I would love to see you as a state director in the Miss USA system in the future. Keep up the great job.

  4. Thailand is not a powerhouse. There are countries that have won more crowns and long winning streaks compared to them. The real powerhouse countries in MU are USA, Venezuela, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Sweden, South Africa, India and Colombia. Venezuela and the Philippines are the powerhouses in the big 5 beauty pageants.

  5. Here's my take. All of the years of chasing the Woke clout has finally caught up to Miss Universe. It all started when IMG took over. All their talk of "inclusion" "body positivity", etc. While that's great, their approach was shaming and alienating the core, traditional pageant fans to chase after the Woke crowd who will NEVER accept pageantry. You or other people may not be willing to admit it, but IMG had at least one token black girl in every year. The way they highlighted Angela Ponce was something they never did for any other contestant, despite the fact that there are plenty of women on stage who have a more strong, compelling story than just being a transwoman.

There's also something to be said for being EXCLUSIVE. Having high standards for Miss Universe contestants IS NOT BAD. Being exclusive elevates the brand. All this "inclusion" has only cheapened Miss Universe. I'm not Miss Universe material, and if the pageant/organization will just have a bunch of candidates looking like me on stage, then why would I watch? I'll just go stare at myself in the mirror.

The best years of Miss Universe was during the Trump era. The contestants were glamazons. The winners went on to have successful modeling/acting/hosting, etc careers. The last good year for Miss Universe was 2018 when Catriona won. She was just so popular and brought so much business to MUO.

  6. Would you ever consider recapping Miss International Queen? They're fabulous and similar to the top pageants. It's a shame no one's covering them.
