At the Miss Universe pageant Sunday night, emcee Steve Harvey mistakenly named Miss Colombia the winner instead of Miss Philippines, the real winner, and then apologized. Speaking to TODAY live, former pageant owner Donald Trump says, “Steve Harvey is a great guy … things happen, it’s live television.” Trump says he would have made the two women “co-winners.” “It would be very cool.”

Imagine being co winner for someones mistake I'd rather give up the crown that just like saying you didn't deserve the title, but we'll split the crown cause we feel so pity for you, heck no!🤮
kind of a dumb advice from Trump to have it shared between the two contestants solely because they feel bad for Ms. Colombia and so they will strip half of what is rightfully for ms Philippines and apparently that is something that wouldn't make him feel bad. of course that would be upsetting to the winner herself. its like killing fire with petroleum. i'm glad Trump is out of the picture.
and another thing, over the years we have come to realize that then ms. Colombia was not even worthy of 1st Runner up. such a cry baby at the time but that can be understood. still a contestant of her caliber should have handled it well. she did not handle the mistake very well. she could have set an example and show the people and her fans what the pageantry is about.
FACTS : the winner is Ms. Philippines but the host made a mistake of announcing the 1st Runner up as the winner. so NO ms. Colombia is not the winner no crown was stolen from her.
the mistake was unacceptable and it is embarrassing and devastating to ms. Colombia and that is what she and the Colombian fans should have fought for. not that the crown was stolen

If Miss Colombia decided to pursue on suing Mr.Harvey for the humiliation she has all the right but Mr.Harvey on the other hand has the right also to defend himself! If Miss Colombia REALLY wan to help other people she COULD DO IT even WITHOUT the Miss Universe crown. Co-winner? What's the purpose for having the runners-up? It's not just the Colombians who felt sad for what happened, but also the whole world. What kind of idea is that! Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia are both candidates, we felt sad for Miss Colombia and specially for Miss Philippines for the reason that, that was supposed to be her moment – her crowning moment. Co-winner!? ..hah! Don't even think about it.
If that happens to the presidential election – the same situation, I know it's impossible, but what if! … what if that happens in Trump's situation? would he like the idea of having a co-winner! I don't think so.

When Trup was the owner of the pageant , He most of the times had two hosts a man and a woman . I was very surprised to see on 2015 M U , just a male host . Two brains checking what was gonig on, especially the carefull brain of a woman, I am sure that awful mistake would not have ocurred. I think Steve, who did an excellen job, was betrayed by his subconcious . Deep inside he was totally convinced Colombia was the Miss Universe.
