Title: Pretty dress
Review: I ordered this dress in a 1X (18) and it fit just right- enough stretch to make it comfortable but enough structure in the fabric to feel like in was held in a little. The dress is flattering and the criss cross in front is fun but not too revealing. I am 5’5″ and I need my dresses a little on the shorter side because I do a lot of dancing, so I had the back shortened a few inches to make sure it wasn’t going to drag If I wear flats, but someone who is my height or taller wearing this to a regular function with heels should have no problems with the length. The color isn’t as dark emerald green as I was hoping for It’s more of a soft dark sage, but still very pretty. The Velvet is midweight, mid quality , not particularly thick, but not super thin either.

Title: Missed my gala, but my husband insisted I keep the dress…
Review: Due to no fault of Amazon, the dress was delayed by a day and did not arrive in time for the formal gala I wanted to attend.However, I tried this dress on when it finally arrived just for fun. The color and style are EXACTLY as shown. The gown is a beautiful, deep emerald teal and made from delicious soft velvet. It came in a plastic bag, which I was skeptical about, but it was perfectly wearable straight from the bag with no creases or wrinkles. The sizing was dead-on precise. I am 5’10; in kitten heels (I don’t need the height, just the look!) the back of the gown came down to the middle of my heel, showing none of my ankle. PERFECT! So perfect, in fact, that my husband took one look and told me to keep it because, “Where else will you find a dress that fits this well?” Now, I just need a reason to wear it! When I do, I’ll post pictures.
