Phenomenal that year was.Three crowns of Miss Universe,Miss World,Miss Asia Pacific with Indian title holders with India making the mark of having two Indian title holder winners for two consequent years at Miss World.Those that know must be knowing that Mahesh Bhupathi's former wife Shweta Jaishankar Miss International 1998 someone equally as exquisite with an enchanting personality as the latter's second wife was also there.Not to forget the last but not the least Aishwarya Rai,Diana Hayden would have looked better with a certain hairstyle instead of open hair though their hair style is their personal choice

Just look at the layout of the contest. So well structured and is of international quality. The tribute theme done to commemorate all the past winners alone can give one goosebumps. TOI was the greatest and the best organizers of miss India churning out girls who were not only beautiful but intelligent and actually won or be at top 5 or 3 pretty much every single year. Now when I watch miss India contest I just want to vomit. It is gross and that disgusting Manish as a host makes it even more cringeworthy with dirty jokes. In one of shows they made John Abraham wear a saree and apparently it was funny. How is it that men dressed as women can be remotely funny. The day TOI got out of endorcing miss India contest was the worst day as it could never achieve the same amt of sophistication and honour.
