This girl is just fake. I'm not commenting on whether she looks beautiful when she gained weights or not. The problem is that this girl, just like all other celebs, earns money for whatever benefits her. When she was slim she earned money by being the face of some gym centers and promoted healthy diets, exercises, "you are what you eat"; then when she gained weights she keeps defending "every woman/girl is beautiful no matter sizes or shapes" …. Somebody said she has a a symptom called celiac which made her gain weight, but why the time was so perfect – why didn't she gained weight before the competition?
This girl used to be body shamed for being thin, and now for being fat, so all I can see is that this girl is not disciplined – she is not able to manage her own body and is not a good representative for girls of this generation. Yes we should teach the girls to be confident with their weight, no matter if it's 110 lbs or 160 lbs (as long as the doctor says they're still healthy), but we should not encourage the girls to bloat like a balloon sometimes, then fast too quickly to lose weight before the competition, then binge eating again after the coronation.

At least the Miss Universe Org or Harnaaz herself must release a statement concerning her weight gain. Her situation is not something that the rest of the world is familiar with, especially in pageantry. Indians should stop labelling our comments as "HATE" because we are commenting on something that we can see. We're here to watch her homecoming too; unfortunately her weight gain is not something that we can ignore and pretend that it's not happening. Some of us don't hate Harnaaz; we were rooting for her along with you guys. Please quit this BS!!
