3:03 – Peter joins the chat room
3:17 – Noemi joins the chat room
4:02 – All of us are in different time zones
5:48 – Brian and Noemi attended the pageant; they said they couldn’t do selfies and didn’t give the reason why LOL
6:32 – Rafa and Hector are planning to travel together to Vietnam for Miss Grand International in October. Who else is going?
7:35 – Peter throws shade at MU
8:17 – Miss World will be held in Dubai in May?
8:37 – Miss Wales had a car accident
9:05 – Miss America has a new owner, Robin Fleming, What changes will she implement?
11:11 – We congratulate Brian for doing the best coverage of MU; his number of subscribers exponentially grew
12:38 – Rafa launched superchat
13:13 – Brian shares his New Orleans experience, his interaction with the contestants; disorganized; chaotic
14:29 – Peter asks, “Where’s the tea?”
15:02 – New Orleans is not safe, but also has a lot of culture, food is expensive
16:02 – The guests introduce themselves; Peter is the “resident snowflake” lol
19:56 – Hector loves Khun Anne; Anne blocked Rafa
20:25 – Summer of Crown Sisters says hi; Roger of Pageant Nerd was also invited but still recovering from his surgery
21:01 – Noemi shares her New Orleans experience; overpriced; horrible roads; long line leading to the entrance of the venue; people rushed to their seats; she got pushed; no signs in the sitting section. “It was a mess!” “The worst event ever!” Thai fans walked out when Thailand wasn’t called to top 16. She was able to move to a better seat.
28:03 – Brian comments on the telecast – they did a good job selling it but it didn’t look anything in real life
28:38 – Brian was treated harshly by MUO security – he brought this up with Tawn, the creative director who told him that it will not happen again.
31:08 – Brian interviewed Tawn; how was Tawn like in person? He is the oppositie of Anne who is hyper. They form a good balance. We shouldn’t just Anne yet until the next production because the last one was still under IMG
33:13 – Did Brian speak with Paula Shugart? Paula has also blocked Rafa. LOL. Brian advice viewers to write to Paula and Anne to express their sentiments about the production, etc.
35:58 – Lots of miscommunication between the Thai group (Anne & Tawn) and the U.S. group (Paula and company); Noemi says some of the old MUO staff are back
37:00 – Briand on the Brand Agency – MUO’s new public relations department. Brian questions why the mainstream media were given access (even though they have a low reach) instead of pageant vloggers who have bigger reach. Peter shares his expertise on PR. Peter jokes about Rafa being blocked. Who else is blocked by MUO? Missosology/Pawee.
40:53 – Rafa reads viewers comments. A viewer who attended the pageant said that some people were standing on their seats
41:51 – Stage is small; the rows of chairs on the same level
42:17 – Rafa says the opening reminds him of MU 1993, he likes the carnival motif; some of the audience members didn’t show any reaction
44:05 – Bring back the production from the 1980s and 1990s
Peter tells younger viewers to do their research and watch old MU shows.
45:13 – Brian says MGI’s music is on point compared to MU.
45:44 – The entertainers. Peter throws shade at singer Amanda Shaw; but we all love Yolanda Adams singing “I’m Every Woman.” Who is “Tank and the Bangas?”
47:43 – The Selection Committee – 7 women and 1 man who sometimes thinks he’s a woman. Brian unloads on “women empowerment” – he hates the anti-man concept of MUO – even though he considers himself a feminist. Every woman on the stage has at least 3 gay men supporting her. Brian says last year in Israel, men were not allowed to sit in the front row. 90% of the audience is men.
51:44 – It was in 2018 that MUO started putting all women in the judging panel
52:03 – Rafa says he has to be careful and watch his language due to YouTube’s stricter community guidelines
52:40 – How would each guest rate the production from a scale of 1 to 10? Surprising comments. Great commentary by Peter about men who have elevated women in the last 70 years. “It’s a dishonor to the past winners/organizers.” There will always be a level of objectification in pageants. Brian both agrees and disagrees with Peter.

    1:22:08 – Jamaica

    1:22:42 – Cambodia

1:22:56 – Laos won the fan vote; Rafa says he was attacked by the supporters of Laos. If Laos had not made the top 16, maybe another non-Asian country would have made the cut. India was the flag bearer of Asia for 3 consecutive years.

1:24:34 – Spain – the only girl trained by Filipinos that made the top 16

1:26:14 – Thailand (winner of Social Impact Award). Rafa asks if there had been a top 20, those 4 eliminated Southeast Asian countries would have made the cut?

1:36:05 – Let's go back to the basics. Let's mix the old and the new. No more three-hour shows. If more countries participate, maybe they should turn it into a reality show.

1:50:13 – You don't need to join MU to create an impact. Brian thinks Dom. Rep. will do well in Hollywood.

    1:54:20 – Crystle Stewart

1:54:44 – Morgan Romano is the new Miss USA; What would Miss Montana USA Heather O'Keefe say now? Heather did a video after Miss Universe claiming that she hadn't seen the clause in the contract saying that MUO has the right to change the results of the pageant. Noemi vents, saying that Montana started the whole accusation of rigging. Why didn't Montana's state director intervene?

2:08:41 – Curacao – will she compete in Supra or Grand?

2:18:48 – Next pageant: Miss Charm International in February. We will have a group chat.

    2:19:44 – Goodbyes

  2. "Maybe she was was having her time of the month. A true woman by the way." Rafa defending Lupita Jones against rumors that Lupita doesn't smile at her fans. SO people who menstruate are the only "true" women, which follows that Khun Ann (owner of Miss Universe) isn't? You need to educate yourself more about gender, transgenderism, and the word woman. Don't dictate to others what/who a true woman is or isn't; it's not your expertise nor your lived experience to speak on behalf of all women.

  3. The Thai’s knows Ann won’t get the crown but upset that most sea candidates did not get placement. They just don’t like the new owner They agree with all top 5, and agree Miss USA deserved the crown.

  4. Notice that the two latinos, hector and brian barely react to nayib of el salvador? Maybr the two of them thinking "why so enamored he's very pedestrian".
Only the two baklas of philippinrs so thirsty lol 😂

  5. I love this group chat! It’s eye-opening and everyone seems sincere and honest about their opinions. Nothing is whitewashed. Good job Brian for covering the pageant. Rafa ever so blunt and funny at the same time. Peter is always so calm and logical which is rare for a snowflake 😂

  6. It’s the security guard of the convention center were very rude . They would not let us use the restroom and wants us leave the convention center like animals. VERY RUDE people and racist . We took a video of it .

  7. Hector, if you can't provide your source, that means that your source is suspect. Because I can easily say that my sources say that Hector lies on a consistent basis.

  8. The Pageant Institute is the smartest in the panel. Majority of people who watch pageants are expecting pretty and sexy women. And so do sponsors and TV networks. These are the reasons why pageants are no longer relevant in the Western World because post-Trump these criteria's were not met.
