One #HersStory that rates a thumbs up for serving up both Kimberly Escartin's family and everyday life as well as the tourism spots of Southern Leyte. But, more interestingly as a would-be MUPh queen, her dedication to the cause of preventing teenage pregnancy – which I should hope is not that prevalent in her province – is brought prominently if unpreaching-ly in the video. That somebody is taking the initiative in promoting awareness of the problem is, needless to say, highly commendable.
The video though could stand some technical tweaking, foremost of which is the audio that made the voice of Ms. Escartin thin and, worse, so like a very young girl – hence lacking gravitas if she wants to spread her advocacy effectively. And when paired with her own very young looking face and body, one wonders if she's in the wrong pageant and shouldn't she be in one for teens? But to my surprise after checking for her age, it turned out she's 25!
