Title: It is not PPD free anymore
Review: I have been using this product since 2019. It has been great for me with PPD sensitivity. It smells like oranges and is very easy to use. I also brought this to my hairstylist to color my hair, and she loved the gentleness and effective coloring. She found no damage to my hair despite my frequent use of the color.However, after four years of enjoying the product without any allergic symptoms, the reaction returned after the purchase this summer. Not only did the design of the box change, but so did the ingredients. Now they do not have the line “No PPD” on the box. (I wish they could notify us of the BIG change)I have to stop using it in the middle of the treatment because of a burning sensation and itchiness, leaving a very uncomfortable feeling on my scalp with a significant amount of fallen hair. I would have avoided using it if I had known the change.Since I trusted the product, I purchased 4-6 boxes at a time, so I still have 4 unopened boxes, but they are all in the newly designed boxes which I cannot use. I wish I could get the previous version of this hair color.If you have NO PPD allergies, please enjoy the product with its ease of use without any harsh smell.Update 4/29/2025:”NO PPD” has been added back to the box. I would appreciate it if others could share reviews confirming whether this is true. Thank you so much!

Review: I bought this product for my mother, she has grey roots. And I always wanted her to use any herbal hair dyer. Thankful to Indus Valley, the product is full sized and big quantity. It can be used 4 times if you have hair till your shoulders. Within 30 minutes, you get your desired color. It has no ammonia and no other chemical, they have only used herbal ingredients specially henna and orange. They have many color variety, do try if you are looking for some chemical free products.
