Amazing interview! I left the Philippines almost 20 years ago because I felt like I don’t belong. I am gay and have dark skin. Of course not popular in Philippines and always been bullied. But here in the US, everyone loves my color. I came from poor family as well and work my way through getting scholarships to support my studies. Now, I’m a succesful doctor here in the US. I am happily married with my husband who is the love of my life. 😊
