Before she graced the silver screen, Jacqueline Fernandez was turning heads in the pageant world. During her Miss Universe Sri Lanka journey, Jacqueline was asked a bold and timely question regarding cosmetic surgery—and her answer was nothing short of empowering.

With calm confidence, Jacqueline addressed the topic:

“Beauty is subjective, and if someone feels more confident by enhancing certain features, that is their decision. What truly matters is how you carry yourself, your values, and your intentions.”

Her thoughtful reply sparked conversation about beauty standards in pageantry, earning admiration for its balance between personal choice and self-acceptance. ownthatcrown.com

  1. Says the one who herself got insane cosmetic alterations done?
I love how a few of these pageant women hold such strong morals, only for them to break them on their own later on in life.

  2. And then she opted to be the one who can afford very well and changed herself from head to toe

  3. Wow she was so wise when she was so damn young she has come such a long way since then Bollywood to working with Tayc she's done it all ❤❤❤

  4. Parents are about natural beauty judged by how much powder and fake eyelashes can these women put to hide their natural beauty

  5. I don't think so, because your natural beauty is not in your control and totally depends on genetics. Cosmetic surgery help you to go against your genetics boundary. But I see most of the are really getting mad for surgery and ended up with a unexpresable face, which absolutely a sh*t decision.

  6. Yeah, but when you think about how rabia Mateo's reign as Miss universe Philippines was full of plastic surgery controversy, and that she didn't even take the time to get her dresses fitted after a boob job, so her preliminary dress looked like it was about to fall off of her chest, what exactly are you competing against?

  7. There's nothing Natural about beauty pageants in the first place! And some people who are born with it and some people who have to buy it… I mean come on people. Even the ones who are born with that have to do a lot of things to bring out our beauty. 😂 (Let's stop being superficial and this comes from a very physically beautiful woman, mashAllah). Thank you
