Please react to the final
I am so excited about Vietnam. This is my first time watching their Miss Universe national pageant and I was immediately mindblown not only by their production but mainly by the quality of girls that they have. They surely can get the other countries a run for their money!
Please react to Miss Universe Vietnam final❤
Coming very soon a Universe beauty from Vietnam ❤️ from the Phils
Please react to the Final of Miss Universe Vietnam.
Có ai dịch sơ bả nói gì không ạ
The gown of 343 made from Scoby kombucha
You said it all and as a Vietnamese MU lover, I agree with you 99.9999% regarding both SS and EG. Your picks are amazing. Btw, I think I can answer some of your questions.
1. MU Vietnam takes place biennially. I don't remember exactly, but they started turning it into a "reality" show since 2015. So all of eligible girls come to casting days to fight for a spot in the competition, usually around 40-44 girls. They have to do scores of training sessions, such as photoshoot, catwalk, commercials, posing, interviews, public speaking, fashion shows etc. The show is broadcast on a weekly basis, and each episode sees the elimination of one girl. Thanks to this format, the judges and the audience would have more time and chances to look for most potential, outstanding girls out of the bunch.
2. For this year, MUV really went an extra mile to turn the show into a great deal. There was a private interview conducted yesterday. All of the contestants had to answer questions in sheer English and were judged by MU 2005 Natalie Glebova, MU 2018 Catriona Gray and MU 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu. We gradually realize that strong contestants, especially the one chosen for the crown, must possess a certain amount of language skills, i.e. English, thus besides physical appearance in SS and elegance in EG, the ability to give great interviews and communicate with other people is highly considered too.
3. Sadly, all of the episodes haven't had any English subtitles yet. Hope they are going to do something about it soon.
P/S: Here's the thing, the girl who is crowned MUV will compete at the coming MU, i.e. 2022, and the first runner-up would be for next year, 2023. Hope this helps.
P/S plus: What are your picks for top 5 and in what order?
Why ain't you mention about LGBT first transgender contestants in Miss Universe Vietnam 's History
Hello, I truly think you should watch Miss International Queen is a trans beauty pageant, and it has a lot of amazing, beautiful women.
Do you know what time the pageant is in the states?
Miss Universe Vietnam 🇻🇳 happening every two years. So the winner and the first runner up will have chances to compete at Miss Universe. MUVN started to do the TV show since 2018 ( the year of Henie was win) until now. All the candidates have to pass all the challenges at the MUVN TV show to get chances to be in semi final . For this year they will select top 16 for the final night. I hope it can help you to answers your questions
❤️❤️
343 gown is actually from her co-founder fashion brand and it was made by "kombucha" which is very eco-friendly and the first ever in MU history I would say. Stunning! 314 is also my fav this time!
Vietnam has a lot of serious contenders this year. I imagine it to be so heartbreakingly difficult to narrow it down to two.
I do want to see 248 in Universe either this year or next year!
343 is the best, elegant
The tradition dress call “Áo Dài “ and yes all of of the episodes that lead up to the competition are way Vietnam eliminate it’s contestants. From debate, walk, social aspect, life, intelligent, speech, performances, humanity and so on. They want to find the one with qualifications of human kindness, real and with purposes. That is why the show call VinaWomen. The production is well put together.
337 reminds me of Andrea Meza !!!!!! We need to watch the reality show for Miss Universe Vietnam. Anyone has the link send it my way please. Amazing Dani. Well done.
1:46 he is Wren Evans
wow just wowww, there's many strong and gorgeous girls tho, and love the production hope they'll host MU soon, love from Filipinas 🇵🇭✨
Glad with all the gown designs, but I feel like watching Miss Earth 🌎, maybe because of the colors. Good job MU Vietnam, rising powerhouse. Girls are energetic and bubbly in swim. Girls lack of technical skills and grace in gowns, but they can be trained. Saw a lot of Catriona inspired gown and walk. Overall I'm so happy. Excited to see Harnaz and Catriona together in stage. Pls pls pls
Ahhhh this was amazing. I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I'll write down some stats, facts, and tidbits to hopefully answer some of your questions.
The I Am Miss Universe Vietnam show has been happening coinciding with Miss Universe Vietnam since 2017. The difference this year was that 5 girls get eliminated per episode starting with a pool of 71. In past years, the semifinalists were eliminated at prelims (2017) and at the halfway point of the show (2019). In every episode this year, the bottom 10 performers from that episode's challenge competed in an on-stage style question and answer, typically focused on a subject matter such as social media and the environment. This placed a lot of emphasis on speaking, especially English which has been a hindrance for a couple past Vietnamese delegates.
Some notes on some of the girls that might be helpful, including info on how well they did in past editions (you can compete as many times as you want until you age out, unless you place in the top 3 court)
Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Châu (314, gold gown with electric pleating): a winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model Cycle 7 (you'll notice many of the girls are winners or contestants of VNTM including MUVN 2015 Pham Huong was top 10 cycle 1, Hhennie was top 9 cycle 6, and Hoang Thuy was the winner of cycle 2). She also was Miss Supranational Vietnam 2019 and placed top 10 at MS 2019.
Nguyễn Thị Hương Ly (343, girl with Latina vibes and butterfly nude gown): She won VNTM cycle 6 (Hhennie's cycle funny enough). She was top 5 in the 2019 MUVN edition. Her speaking ability was what had stopped her but this year she is much stronger. Her gown this year is actually quite remarkable as it is made out of Scoby, a product of fermented vinegar which is used in Kombucha. She grew multiple sheets for weeks at a time, dried them, and created a leather. It's incredibly sustainable and gorgeous on stage.
Lê Hoàng Phương (316, girl who seemed ready for Universe): Placed top 10 in the last edition. Many thought she was robbed at the time for her amazing walk.
Nguyễn Thị Thanh Khoa (307, girl with unique orange gown and winner of best interview): She won World Miss University in 2019.
Bùi Quỳnh Hoa (224): You didn't mention her I believe, but she actually was the winner of Vietnam Supermodel back in 2018. This was a competition that Nguyen Tran Kan Van, MUVN 2019< competed in, but she placed runner-up to Quynh Hoa. She doesn't seem to be a popular frontrunner but I thought it was fun to mention.
Fun Fact: Since 2017, there has been a runway show. In the past 2 years, the opening trio was actually the top 3 in that respective pageant. Both the winners were also in the middle coincidently enough. This year, the trio contained 314, 343, and 316 with 343 in the middle. It would be fun to see if this history repeats itself.
I understand this is a lot of info and can be overwhelming, but I hope this was somewhat helpful. I'd love to translate the final show with the top 5 and 3 answers, and also any confusing parts you might have so you can make the final recap with as much info as possible. Keep up the amazing work!
Dani. It happens every two years. The winner goes to MU and usually her first runner up will go to MU the following year. Yes, the girls can compete more than once. Actually two of them (343 and 316) are my frontrunners this time and they competed in 2019. Vietnam is getting noticed in the world of pageant, and thanks to H'Hen Nie in 2018. She is their lucky charm. I am not surprised if Vietnam wins at MU in the near future.
The traditional Vietnamese dresses called “Áo dài “
Asia is not joking this year.
316 Gown though, a replica of Steffi Aberasturi's finals gown. 😅
Oh and there's 245, inspired by Celeste's winning gown.
But yeah, the most memorable Ms. Vietnam for me was MUV 2018 and 2020.. 2020 love her so much
Wow wow wow! All the girls are STUNNING! and the gowns! 🔥 🔥 🔥 it's Vietnam's time at MU.
All of them are sooooooooooooooooo beautiful… like all of them!
I honestly believe that Vietnam will win their first MU this decade. They just need to have the right lady at the right time.
3:18— 308 looks a lot like MUPH's national director Shamcey Supsup-Lee / MU 2011 3rd runner-up

The Vietnamese traditional dress is called “áo dài”. I’m Vietnamese born too.
I just competed in my city pageant, I was crowned Ms. Calgary 2022. I wore “Ao dài” also in my fashion segment.
you should watch their debates and interview skills. They also compete in english. which was surprising. This year contest is so up there! They’re like beauty with the brain.
I am so impressed with the quality and quantity of great contestants. Beautiful dresses, unique designs, color. Wow
Fabulous gowns!!!
Speaking ability???
I won’t be surprised Vietnam’s fashion. Don’t forget they’re colonized and French influence. 😉
The dress is called áo dài.
After seeing the prelim, I could see that Vietnam is coming for the MU's crown. In this edition, beside the amazing design and performance, some frontrunners have a strong communication skill and some of them speak well English. Can't wait for the final!
Production wise, the stage looks modern, yet classy and beautifully lit. The V shape runway gives enough time to the contestants to show their skill. MUP was great, but the contestants were a bit rushing.
Who know, maybe Vietnam will win the MU crown this year.
Even though im rooting for PH, I hope Vietnam win this year.
