Title: I Am In Love!
Review: I love Julep eyeshadow sticks! The rose shimmer is beautiful and it works really well blended with the Orchid color in the crease of my eye. The formulas are easy to blend, and they stay on! I sweat A LOT and these do not fade off. These sticks aren’t messy and I haven’t had any of them break. They are super easy to use and I can use them in a hurry if I use one color. If I am going out, I use more than one color and blend them together. So pretty! I have almost every shimmer color and metallic colors. I haven’t tried the matte colors yet but I am going to give them a shot too. I know I will love them!

Title: Beautiful and easy to use formula, perfect eyeshadow for travel
Review: Pros:Super easy to use. The eyeshadow literally glides on very easily with zero drag. Immediate color payoff and for shades that really show up on your skin, you need just one swipe. This part is definitely way better than the cheaper options (I’ve tried one other brand which was a fourth of the cost but is rough on my lids and requires a lot of back and forth to give me the same color payoff).They last long. I have not seen any issues with color fading through the day with these.Perfect for travel. I love throwing a couple of shades in my make up pouch without having to worry about packing a palette (and worrying about it opening and spilling all over) or brushes.Cons:As with any other make up product of course, some colors just don’t match the payoff you see in advertised photos. Which wouldn’t be as much of a problem if these weren’t $15+ per eyeshadow.I have four colors – the Smoky Tawny Matte and Ochre Matte barely show up on my lids. Although the advertised photos show color pay off on darker lids, I personally find it much lighter than the photos on mine (I have the typical south asian dark lids). Orchid shimmer and Sheer blush pink look amazing on my lids. Looks like the shimmer shades definitely help add some dimension to any base colored lids.Personally the pros outweigh the cons for me and I love this product! I’ll still use the shades that didn’t give a lot of payoff for everyday looks. I use very few colors on my eyes so I’d much rather save money and buy more of these eyeshadow sticks than expensive palettes where I’ll use maybe 2 out of 10-15 colors.

Review: Smoky Amethyst Shimmer— Pretty color!! I have brown eyes and typically wear dark browns or charcoal shades. It’s subtle and blends well with finger (I prefer this over the included sponge). This is my third color in this brand and I love all of them! I use a primer (Laura M.) and the eyeshadow stays put.

Review: I love these sticks. Either for a mono look with a matte shade or blending both matte and the shimmers. They are easy to apply, dry to a nice powder and wear well, too. Very quick and handy eye makeup option.

Title: Cute tube, good color but oily and fidgety
Review: I got snowfall matt, the case is so cute but you don’t actually move the bottom of the case to get more product you rotate the inside of the case so when I’m applying it sometimes the action of moving back forth will move the inside of the case and cause the product to move back into the tube/case. The color is so bright I love this white!!! It just feels a tad bit oily and started to crease on my eyes but I applied a powder to set it and it didn’t crease as much after.

Review: I have the Julep Eyeshadow Sticks in a variety of colors and love them — both the shimmer and the matte. They go on easily, and are both blendable and buildable — the built-in smudger works beautifully. The only color so far that is not true to the photo is Ginger Matte, which is darker than it appears. I especially love the smoky amethyst and sand shimmer, and the stone matte sticks.

Review: Like how it goes on, lasts all day, great color. Instead of using the blending sponge on the stick I used one of my brushes & found it blended great. A number of reviewers noted that it’s difficult to remove. I use Micellar Water for all my makeup removal & found it worked quite well on this shadow. Disappointed I can’t get some other colors I want or they’re very expensive in comparison to the “Stone” color. I looked around on Amazon and found a similar product “Palladio” which from the reviews seems similar to Julep at a much lower price. I’m going to purchase from them & see how their product fairs in comparison.
