Title: The tingle is normal
Review: The color is much more subtle than it appears in the bottle, but it adds just a hint of pink to the glossy shine.I do enjoy how soft and healthy my lips feel after using it. The formula is rich without being greasy, making it perfect for everyday wear. I also noticed a slight tingle, which I learned is from the mint extract. Thankfully, it’s not painful or overwhelming—just a refreshing sensation.Another practical aspect I appreciate is the square bottle design. It sits up nicely on my table or counter and doesn’t roll away, which is a huge plus for me. Overall, I recommend it to anyone looking to hydrate their lips without looking greasy.

Title: Less sticky than most lip glosses but it doesn’t last a long time for me; minty flavor/tingle
Review: This is a nice gloss to use solo or on top of another product that needs a little boost. Unlike most gloss products with similar applicators, this is much less tacky. There is a hint of sticky, but it’s not distracting at all. This also has a minty taste and tingle upon application. If your lips are chapped, the mint might be irritating, but mint is commonly used in lip products exactly for the slight irritation since it can help lips look slightly fuller. It doesn’t really have much of a plumping/irritating effect for me, but I find the mint pleasant. It has some oils added, so I find that it is not drying, but I don’t find it particularly moisturizing either.The main negative for this is that it really doesn’t last long on me at all. I am ready to reapply in about 30 mins. Title: Very hydrating!
Review: I tried this Julep lip oil, and I’m obsessed! It’s super hydrating and leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth without being sticky. The color is subtle but adds a nice touch, and it feels light on my lips. Definitely a new favorite in my lip care routine!

Title: Amazing as a lip topper
Review: This lip oil from Julep works very well as a lip topper because of how it’s clear. I like how soft it makes my lips feel and it plays well with other makeup. Please be aware this contains Apricot and avocado. If you’re sensitive to those two ingredients, its best to avoid this. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say about this as it lasts for around 4 hours as a lip oil should and left my lips buttery soft.

Title: Color is much less intimidating than it looks
Review: First up, the color of hot pink DOES NOT look anything like it when on which I’d say is a good thing. It’s a lot more subtle on my lips than in the bottle. It’s more of a sheer perky pink, like a puppy’s nose when it’s pink.It’s a good thickness where it’s not so heavy and sticky, but is thick enough to feel like it’s doing something being on my lips. The applicator is doe foot so easy to swish about for good coverage. I do tend to wipe a little off in the bottle before putting it on because it comes out initially with what is a lot (for me). I have somewhat thin lips though, so maybe it’s a me thing.The bottle is sturdy and I don’t foresee any issues with it cracking or breaking. The seal has been strong and it hasn’t leaked on me, though I haven’t traveled with it so it’s not been put to a tough test yet. It’s somewhat chunky and with the squared edges might not be nice in a pocket as it would probably dig in if pockets were tight. More of a purse-carry item I think.I’ve wanted to try Julep brand in the past so this was a nice dip in. Based on this product I would try their others.

Title: feels nice
Review: This lip oil has the endurance of every other lip oil I’ve tried which is next to none. You put it on and twenty minutes later, the shine has disappeared.However, the texture and feel is nice even if it doesn’t last.There isn’t anything I love or hate about it, I’d say it’s very average. I do like the Julep brand so maybe I expected too much.
