Title: Definitely smudge-proof, comes off easily, a few minor issues
Review: So I love this mascara. Because I squint when I smile I constantly get the “raccoon eye” effect underneath my eyes and was forever searching for a great smudge-proof mascara. This mascara definitely doesn’t smudge, and like the other reviewers said, it’s really to wash off. I don’t even use my face wash on it since my face wash contains granules that I don’t want to get anywhere near my eyes, so I’m glad that the mascara comes off with just water and a little bit of light rubbing. I only it apply it in the mornings with rarely any touching up. (I might add another layer if i’m going out in the evening though).I debated on this, but I took off a whole star for 3 reasons (2 minor, 1 major):1. It’s pricey for a mascara, and by far the most I’ve ever spent on one. However, since it does exactly what I need it to, I’m willing to pay for it and will definitely be ordering it again once this runs out. I’ve only been using it for about a week or so, so I can’t say yet how long it lasts.2. It’s lighter than I thought it would be. I purchased the “rich pitch black” and when I have it on it resembles my brown “They’re Real” mascara from Benefit. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning.3. The biggest issue is the brush – it is TINY. I don’t know if this mascara is designed to be a lower lash mascara specifically, but that’s definitely what it looks like. I didn’t note anything in the description before I purchased it that it was either or. Because the brush is so thin, it takes me 4 times as long to apply the mascara to my top lashes. Granted, this doesn’t cost me an hour of my time or anything, but every single morning when I apply it for the day it bugs me a little. And since the tube is so thin, I can’t use a different brush because it would be too hard to cram in there. It does apply to the bottom lashes easily though.In summary, I really like this for the smudge-proof factor and will purchase again, but maybe (hopefully) they can work out the kinks and improve the product a little.

Review: This is my mascara – full stop. I suffer with the dreaded panda eyes, so decided on a tubular mascara and have tried so many, from cheap to expensive. I’ve found some flake and leave you with black bits around the eye. I’ve found some just clag the eyelashes and I’ve ended up looking like a folorn spider. I’ve found some are so difficult to remove, I’ve ended up pulling my own lashes out. This mascara is the antidote to it all. I have really sparse and short lashes due to menopause/cancer and I was looking for something that enhanced my natural lashes but without clumping. This mascara will not make you look as if you have false eyelashes, it will just enhance your natural look. This isn’t about big or volume, this is about coating every lash for something more subtle. I must also mention how easy and downright satisfying it is to remove: yes, you can take it off with wipes but you don’t really need any cleanser at all. It’s so satisfying to just sort of twist/pick it off and with no damage to your lashes. So there must be down side, right? Well yes, sort of. It doesn’t seem to last as well as some, so by noon, your lashes aren’t quite as defined as they were but frankly, another swipe of the wand and you’re good to go again. That’s it – there’s no other faults I can find. So if you’re looking for a more natural look, with minimal hassle this is definitely worth a try.
