Title: Beautiful Dress
Review: This dress was beautiful for a black tie wedding. I’m 5’0″ 191lbs, DD bra and the large was a perfect fit. Mind you, I did wear 4″ heels, BUT if you had time to hem it (I didn’t), it wouldn’t have required the heels. I also have big arms, and felt comfortable all night. Material is 100% polyester and did not require a lot of care in terms of wrinkles. The material is thick enough to not be see-through, but not at all hot. Definitely worth the money.

Title: So flattering for larger sizes
Review: I bought this dress for a formal summer wedding in the city (so like, the most annoying event to need a dress for) and it was perfect. Not too formal for the afternoon ceremony, but also completely appropriate for the evening reception. And most importantly it was COMFORTABLE – even when the temps were in the 90s with like 100%humidityI’m 5’3”, 215lb, and very top heavy. I bought the 3XL and it fit greatThe dress was beautiful – when I first opened it I was super disappointed, because the material had a little shine to it and I thought it looked a little cheapBut then I put it on, and my entire opinion changed. It fit beautifully, hung in a flattering way, and covered every flaw. There was plenty of material to modestly cover my chest (I’m a 42DD so that’s a struggle sometimes) and the whole Grecian flow was just lovely.It was a little long – in 3 inch heals it still hit the ground. And unfortunately I didn’t have time to hem it. But I decided I didn’t care, and it ended up being fine for the day.Even my dad (who has never commented on a single thing I’ve ever worn for my entire adult life) make a point to tell me how pretty the dress was.

Title: Wedding Party Dress
Review: I purchased this dress for a wedding–I was in the bridal party and was asked to purchase a dress in this color. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. For reference, I’m 5’8″, and weigh about 145 pounds. I ordered a MEDIUM, but could have easily worn the SMALL. Because I’m a bit taller, I got the size up hoping the length would be there, and it was.I liked:-The color is beautiful. I got the green, and it really looked very close to the picture (which is rarely the case when purchasing online).-The price was good. Just under $50 for a dress to be in a wedding! I’ve been in lots of weddings, and this dress cost the least. It’s a nice break considering all the other expenses.-The dress was very comfortable to wear.Cons:-The fabric is not awesome. It’s a polyester fabric, which lays nicely, but isn’t a great quality. It doesn’t look like a high-end dress. It looks like a $50 dress.-The back elastic makes the dress look even cheaper. I don’t love it. I get that it’s there to fit lots of body types and sizes, but I wish the dress was sized in numbers vs S/M/L/etc to get a better, and more personalized fit-My sister bought the same dress for the same wedding, and after dancing a while said she had pretty visible sweat marks. Could have been a personal thing, an antipersperspirant thing, etc. Either way, not awesome for her–it made her feel self-conscious. I didn’t notice it with my dress, but have young kids and wasn’t able to be on the dance floor for long stretches of time.All in all, a solid purchase. If it were a fancier indoor wedding, I might have chosen differently, but for this event, it was perfect.

Title: Not a bad dress, but expected more for its price point. Okay for full figures, better for slender figures.
Review: I regret that I didn’t take any photos before I returned this dress but for the purposes of a written review, my comments are as follows:1) The dress is not bad and works well for full figured women, especially those with large breasts. There is plenty of fabric give in the chest area and if ordering the XL then you will not really need the “dickie” or undershirt that you see many of the women wearing in Amazon reviews. I wear a 38DDD/E and had plenty of room to spare in the chest area, which was nice & unexpected. I typically have issues with this in most clothing.2) The dress is made of a rather cheap shiny polyester feeling fabric, so it doesn’t look “classy” or expensive enough to be considered an evening “gown”, but with the right shoes and accessories you could pull it off.3) If you are taller than 5’5″ then flats are probably the only good option. I am 5-5 and the dress skims at the top of my feet. When wearing heels, it was unflattering at the bottom. If you have hips and a booty, it lays straight down to the ankle from the widest point of your hips so if you are wearing heels, it doesn’t look right. If you are wearing flat sandals, it isn’t as bad but it doesn’t have an “evening gown” look to it unless it is somewhat covering your feet or to the floor. Again, I feel this is a good go-to-dinner-on-beach-vacation dress if wearing flat sandals but it might not look as good if you are curvy, 5-6 or taller and try to dress up with heels. Perhaps buying a size smaller than you need may give you a more form-fitting look towards the bottom and cutting off at the ankle might not be as bad.4) This is probably a great dress for thin women, or women with an athletic build as it will give you the curves and shape you may want if not feeling comfortable in bodycon or form fitting dresses. It’s comfortable for full figured women, but I’m not sure the style is as flattering as I was hoping for.5) All of the above criticisms come down to the price point. At under fifty, I might have rated otherwise but for higher pricing, I would expect a little more out of this dress – from a fabric and tailoring perspective.

Review: Was pleasantly surprised with this dress. Is is very light and flowy, and well made for Amazon clothing. I am 6’ tall and it is made for shorter women. It comes to mid calf on me…which I don’t mind. If you are 5’ tall with this dress, you’ll be stepping on it! Buy one size up from what you normally would and you’ll be happy. Overall one of the best clothing buys I’ve made on Amazon.

Review: I love the fabric, and the fact that it fits true to size. I actually love everything about this dress, except for the slits on the arms! I wear XL, and having arms area already quite large, I hated how the sleeves emphasized them even more, making me look even larger overall.Christmas time is very difficult to find anything nice to wear for party AND get it shipped on time. So I realized I’m either returning it and left without any dress at this point, or I try and save it.I took the risk of re-doing the sleeves, and it turned out brilliant! I am not a seamstress, so I had to hand-stitch to the best I could. The fabric, however, is VERY forgiving! It does not fray at all, so no hemming was necessary. If you are, like me, stuck with it without other options, I’ll post my easy conversion DIY here. Took me a couple hours to finish, and the dress looks fantastic after, I look much thinner in it now that the sleeves are slimmer. Just roll the ends of the sleeves inside a bit to hide the open part, and no one will ever notice, it will look finished and as if it was meant to be this way!
