Title: Great Products But Use in Moderation!
Review: I’ve had great luck with this product set. Due to a prolonged period of stress, my normally clear complexion developed issues which necessitated more than Dove soap and a Vitamin C serum everyday.I read many reviews where others experienced bad reactions to these products. So, I’m passing along the best pieces of advice I saw online for these products or products like them. Following these tips has made my first week of use effective with no adverse effects (burning, peeling, etc.). On the third day I did experience a slight breakout but it cleared up by day 5. I feel like this was a normal rebellion since my skin wasn’t used to harsh cleansers and topicals being regularly applied.Things I read that worked for me:1. Do not use all three products together twice a day. The cleanser can be used twice a day if needed but if it’s too harsh use it only once a day.2. Apply the toner (step 2) lightly and gently with a disposable cotton pad. Rinse it off with warm water so it doesn’t sit on the skin.3. Apply the dual action acne treatment (step 3) in the morning and in the spots needed only.4. Do not use the dual action acne treatment (step 3) in combination with a retinol product.5. Retinol products are best used at night.6. Apply a light, oil free moisturizer because skin dries out using these products. La Roche-Posay sells two fabulous light moisturizers.

Title: Extremely effective!
Review: I love this product! In the past I was usually just using toner or just using a cleanser and keeping hair out of my face. Iâd notice some improvement, but I have combination skin but for years I was still always dealing with excess oil production and acne in my T zone area (especially forehead). None of it has ever been excessive acne, but it was still enough to be noticeable. Finally I decided to go ahead and tackle the problem more seriously and Iâm so glad I did!The cleanser is definitely more powerful than the ones Iâve used in the past. I limit the benzoyl peroxide to the more intense breakout areas. Definitely use that lightly because it can burn if youâre too enthusiastic, especially in areas with more delicate skin like under the eye. If you have more sensitive skin, I would definitely proceed with caution. My skin doesnât usually react to things, but using these did cause some milder burning and irritation. When I used it with one of my moisturizers it began to burn fairly intensely, so I had to adjust my routine a bit to find something that fit. I would recommend you start slow introducing them one at a time and keeping the dosage small at first.Alsoâ¦if youâre using retinol at night, they recommend you stick to benzoyl peroxide in the morning because the two lower each otherâs effectiveness when they interact.Once you get the hang of it, it can definitely pay off!The speed that I saw benefits where impressive. After just 2 days I noticed significant improvements and now after a week my skin is almost completely clear and looks better than it has in a while! And for onceâ¦no excess T zone oiliness but a much more balanced look!

Title: Very Drying – UPDATED
Review: Baseline, I have oily skin and products that help reduce excess oil are usually really great on my skin. The wash, toner and spot treatment initially felt absolutely amazing for the first two days and it was great. Instantly cleared up an active breakout on my chin, it was perfect. But by the 3rd day, my face is so incredibly dry that it burns and my skin is very splotchy and red. I donât know if itâs just supposed to do that and Iâm supposed to power through and then Iâll see great results or I need to stop immediately and move on. Iâm going to decrease use to one time daily and use a gentle cleaner in the mornings for a few days and see if it gets better.Update:Iâve been using this every other day and a gentle cleanser between. My face has never been clearer, I have no active breakouts and my texture is so smooth. I bought a new moisturizer to help with the dryness throughout the day that helped. My face mustâve just been upset initially because of the change in my face product. Iâll update again in a month.
