Title: Need to have pretty good skin to begin with
Review: I have rosacea with redness, red bumps, and some small pustules. I’m 72 years old. I have never used a powder foundation in my life and I have worn make up since I was 13. The first time I tried the foundation things weren’t going well. The foundation did not go on smoothly and evenly like liquid foundation. It was blotchy and there were places where my skin looked flaky like dandruff. I purchased a cheap hydrating primer and tried again. I only put on the primer after I washed my face and then tried again to use the foundation. I used water to apply and the wet side of the sponge. Things went better this time. I bought the porcelain and it really does match my skin perfectly. It covered all the redness of my rosacea better than the liquid foundations I was using. I did see some areas of flakiness but I used a dry brush and brushed them away. You can see the bumps and contours of my skin more obviously with this foundation. So that’s a negative; but surprisingly, it does not accent my wrinkles. In fact, I would say my wrinkles are less noticeable with this than the liquid. I was never much for powder all my life because I do feel that it accents wrinkles. I even quit wearing powder blush and highlighter. But this does not stick in my wrinkles at all. After wearing for a few hours, I noticed my nose looked kind of naked and the flakiness was again apparent in some places. I feel like if you can get your skin smooth through moisturizing and/or exfoliating and you use a hydrating primer, you will probably be happy with the result. And if uneven skin tone is your major concern, this will give you good coverage. It is a totally different look from liquid foundation though and it takes getting used to.

Title: Imperfection
Review: The color is not for me, I use a kabuki brush and it seems not blend right. Blotches. I know what I’m doing, maybe color is off. Idk.Can you use it after concealer dries?I’ve been but somethings off.I like makeup forever, pricey but worthied. Company convince me to stay, what do I need to do? The product is beautiful, wish the mirror were on the part you open, lol but when I open it, I look and it’s clear, too funny. Mirror is underneath.

Title: The full coverage that I didn’t know I needed
Review: I usually prefer my trusty Balance-N-Brighten, but the morning after a throat surgery, I woke up with some spectacular bruising and discoloration on my face. I looked at the mirror, gasped, and saw it was time to order Double Take. I’m so glad I did, because even without concealer, the Double Take hid a multitude of sins despite feeling lightweight. I haven’t yet tried it with the wet sponge. I applied Double Take dry with a kabuki brush, then misted my face very very lightly with water for a slightly more natural/dewy look. The coverage is great, and I think it’s a good value given the performance of the product. I found the color match for my fair skin with pink/blue tones was excellent.

Title: Foundation made for aging faces
Review: I have the Laura Geller bronzers and brighteners and blushes, and I wondered if they would look better with the powdered foundation from the same line. The foundation is easy to apply with any full brush and it goes on as light or as heavy as you like. It lives up to the hype and doesn’t cakes in wrinkles and creases. It has gotten harder to apply liquid foundations as my skin has lost a lot of its elasticity and this product is easy to apply, it’s quick, and the end result is beautiful. It makes the other Geller products blend a little bit easier because they are the same weight and texture, but like her other products, you can use other liquids and powders and the Geller line looks fine with all of them. The one surprising plus I have found is that it stays on in spite of rain, or sweaty workouts. The foundation is definitely money well spent.

Review: I liked that this foundation provided a lot more cover than the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Colour Correcting foundation. However I ordered it in Fair and it is almost a ghostly white! I have the baked balance one in Fair and it is perfect, so figured I’d order the same shade in a different product.
