Title: Perfect for a first âsemi formalâ dance.
Review: My daughter picked this to wear to her 1st semi formal spring dance. Sheâs only 9, so I wasnât going to spend hundreds on a dress for a kids dance. She picked this, and for the price, I didnât have high hopes. She loved it, and had her heart set on it. When it came in, it exceeded all expectations. The color was even more vibrant and beautiful in person. The sequins were just the right amount of shine.I was glad that I read reviews and knew to order the hoop to go under the skirt, so it would have and full and twirly skirt. She wanted that big, princess feel. The $10 hoop that is suggested, worked perfectly to give that fullness in the skirt.I sized down one size, and my daughter is tall and fairly skinny, so I could have gone down one more size at least and the waist would have been great, but the length wouldnât have been long enough had I done that. It was only a bit loose, which made her more comfortable. I also found it to be quite wrinkled from being packaged in such a small bag, but I just steamed it with a garment steamer and that was fixed easily.I paired it with a ostrich feather fan from the bridal section, to complete the â50s glamâ look she was hoping for, and honestly, she looked perfect.I got messages all night saying she was the favorite dressed of the night because her dress was different. This dress made her look and feel like a princess. Iâm so glad we went with this one. It did not disappoint, and she LOVED it even more than she thought she would. Perfect pick for her first dance, and it didnât break the bank. (Dress and hoop for $50.)

Review: The dress is beautiful but I was under the impression that it had a full skirt line. My granddaughter is 7 years old and I bought a size up from 7/8 to 9/10 the dress fits a little tug at the arms so you may want to get a size up but it’s a very beautiful dress.

Review: This is a beautiful dress. However, the top part was HUGE on my daughter. The length was perfect. The fullness of the dress was extremely underwhelming compared to the product photos. A hoop skirt helped, but because the tulle on the bottom is so thin, you could see every single hoop underneath. For the money, I would say the quality is worth it. It doesnât feel or look cheap. Just be prepared to get alterations done for the top half of the dress.
