Title: Works for lightened hair
Review: I think it works. I gave myself highlights but because of not letting some of the foils process long enough/ the color on my mids and ends being a reddish brown, my hair looked really orange. Itâs kind of hard to apply since you are supposed to apply to dry hair and my hair sucked it all up so I couldnât tell what was saturated. The first time I used this, it took me so long to apply that I got scared it would turn gray so i washed it out early and it didnât have a huge effect. I got another box and left it longer and it looks really nice now. I took about 5 minutes to apply, started on my mids. Then left it for another 10 and itâs a nice bright creamy color and not gray. Godspeed to you other DIY girlies

Title: Works amazing!!! Other products failed
Review: I put some highlights in my hair and must not have put it on thick enough and my hair turned orange. Tried two other highly rated in shower purple treatments (first pic is the âafterâ of those) and still was pretty orange. Was afraid Iâd have to just dye my entire head and fry my hair to fix this. This worked amazing and saved me from damaging my hair! It does not fry or damage your hair and does not smell. Feels like conditioner and itâs not purple. Whatever is in it works!!!!

Title: Very inconsistent product
Review: My original review was glowing! The first bottle I received gave me a beautiful natural looking but bright sandy blonde, annihilated all the oranges and yellows from my hair. I loved it so much I purchased it two more times. There is 0 consistency with this product. I strand tested my most recent bottle compared with the same hair that was bleached at the same time and has had 0 other treatment between now and the last toning and came out with vastly different results from the prior bottle. The first time I used it, it gave the natural sandy blonde look, the next time – a murky brown. I figured it was user error and purchased another bottle to touch up some spots that I had missed – this time it’s blue… I had to quadruple check that I even ordered the right product. It didn’t look the same in the bottle as it had with prior uses, it didn’t look the same on my head as it did with prior uses. I’ll stick to mixing my own toner because this stuff is a wild ride on whether you will get the same color twice. I do not recommend this product.

Review: Photo 3: Before I screwed up asking for my hair to be dyedPhoto 2: My jet black hair?!?Photo 1: 5 mins after blow drying my hair and using HALF the max time for this product for color removalThis product did everything I asked of it!!!! So the reason I think it has the bad reviews is because:1. the smell2. the brassy color that people are sometimes getting#1 I guess I can see that, it smells like rotten boiled eggs, but Iâve smelled worse on airplanes for much longer and tbh wasnât surprised#2 If you read the directions and warnings in its entirety, youâll see that highlighted/bleached hair will definitely need to go back to the salon for. This is because the bleach reacts differently than dye/toner to this product, so it will come out brassy instead. I had a few highlights that were very faded and leftover and could barely see this happened, but wasnât surprised when it did. But again, only a warning to the highlighted hair folks. IF what happened to me happen to you, use this!!!My case: I went to a new stylist per a referral, and asked for âone shade darkerâ. I have naturally brown hair and had never all over dyed it. TLDR she dyed it black. I gave it a few days to come out but it never faded. I didnât hate it but didnât love it.My process: since I originally wanted âone shade darkerâ and still did, I did half/minimum the recommended time. So – 10 mins sitting, 15 min rinse/shampoo, 5 minute rinse/shampoo 3x. I also did a test on a strand, was SHOCKED with how well it worked (seeing the color brown again was all I wanted) and then did the whole thing same time all over again on my entire head. Total time was 2 hours.Hair Loss: this was my biggest worry outside of getting brassy hair and so I watched it like a hawk. Hindsight 20/20 there was no hair loss lol. In the moment it felt like there was, but that was because I was constantly running my fingers through my hair while rinsing, aka pulling out 1-2 strands each time LOL. This stopped completely after shampoo #2 and I stopped panicking for no reasonShampoo: I used a moisturizing shampoo. 10/10 recommend because my hair is so soft after washing it so much and your hair will appreciate it!Results: When I was done, I wasnât completely sure it had done much, because you have to remember, youâre rinsing for so long that the color is SLOWLY coming out with the long rinsing and not dumping off your head like it does normally day 1 after the salon.But my rating!? 10/10. My hair is no longer weighed down by a pound of black hair dye AND curls up again like it used to. Also, itâs not fried from this product and should be even better than it was in a few days. So happy with this product and saved me money from going back to the salon!! If youâre nervous to try it, for $12 itâs so worth it! Thank you!!!!!

Review: Does the job and didn’t damage my hair. Definitely a difference with decreased yellow. Goes on clear not purple so I was skeptical but it works. I like the way it smells. Will buy again.

Title: Itâs ok ?
Review: This is just ok not great, thereâs like no real developer in it to help adjust your brassy blonde hair. But I was smart left it on only five mins and while hair was set like in the salon. I tried the Pearl a couple weeks ago that seemed to make it more yellow blonde ( my issue is too much yellow no orange issues really ( just my bangs as they were the last to bleach so I have to add some morehighlights ) anyway waited tried the champagne and again only 5 mins I didnât want to turn it purple or blue or too full and take away the highlights!! Iâm a at home two step blonde this time only because I dyed my hair brown last winterâŠ.so I had to box dye it with LâOrĂ©al excellence creme in champagne 8.5 A then waited a week used the LâOrĂ©al frost tips im champagne and NOT the cap i just use my fingers or toothbrush and I do an at home balayage lol anyway I probably should have left on for 15 instead of 5 and it would be more beige ! So thatâs my fault !!!Then a week after I used a purple mask Iâm happy with it but may try this again for 15 mins itâs still a bit too white and yellow and I want champagne or beige anywhoo point is itâs soooo much easier to go to Sallyâs with professionals or even. Their website snd call up the wella number theyâre super helpful so next time or summer when I go blonde again after a brunette winter Iâll go the real toner route ( you need developer in Toner or you wonât see much change!! But again itâs not bad id use this again

Review: Took the risk of using this toner despite all the negative reviews. Clearly, some people cannot read instructions and refuse to actually take extra caution on how the toner works. It is not dye nor is it a bleaching kit. If left on for too long (ie. exceeding 15 minutes), the toner WILL turn a greyish purple and it WILL make the blonde more grey.With that said, this toner took out the most obnoxious orange brassy tones out of my hair and gave it a nice ash blonde. Waited over 3 days to use the toner AFTER bleaching my hair. It’s best to wait so your hair and scalp isn’t shocked with all these boxed chemicals. I’ve had ash blonde before so I already knew what to look for. What helped a lot was using a purple conditioner after washing out the toner and leaving that on for 5 min (as per instructions on the bottle) before rinsing completely. Worked just fine for me!

Review: I bleached my hair at home and my hair turned an orange yellow colour, toned using this product and while it did get rid of the brass, my hair is now a grey colour. I’m totally fine with it because anything is better than yellow hair and I like the grey hair on me, however if you aren’t okay with grey I don’t recommend but otherwise it saved my hair! On the other hand if you’re like me and just desperate to get rid of orange and don’t really care about the outcome then I highly recommend
