Review: I bought 2 packs because I can see how thin they are, and I kid you not — the 2nd pack of hair smells like Gain laundry soap. What?!UPDATE: So I washed both bundles and 2 packs are not enough if you’re doing a protective style with minimal leave out. My head is not big and I still need more smh

Title: Beautiful at first glance, but quickly lost its promise.
Review: When I first received these extensions, I was excited. The texture straight out of the package looked promising—soft, a nice luster, and a density that paired well with my 2×6 closure. I had plans to wear them for a few weeks while styling in protective updos, and initially, I thought they might work for that. I washed them gently and allowed them to air dry, hoping to see the natural curl or wave pattern return.Unfortunately, once the hair was washed, it fell flat—literally and figuratively. There was no defined curl pattern, not even a soft wave. It dried into a straightness that didn’t blend well at all. I tried curling it with both heatless methods (flexi rods, overnight braids) and a curling iron on low heat, but it simply wouldn’t hold a curl after a few hours, no matter the technique or product used. It would look great for about 90 minutes and then fall completely limp.I take really good care of my hair and extensions, so I know this wasn’t due to misuse. This felt more like a blend or overly processed bundle masquerading as natural human hair. It’s frustrating because the hair looked decent enough to pass for quality initially, but its lack of durability and curl retention made it nearly unusable for my purposes.If I had the option, I would absolutely return this item. It’s one thing to receive a product that doesn’t work for your texture, but it’s another thing when the hair fails to do the very basics—like hold a curl or keep a natural wave pattern. Don’t get me wrong, the hair isnt that bad. But, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who’s planning on using it with a closure or trying to maintain a natural-looking style. Not the best after a few weeks, to say the least but good if you need a quick fix.
