Review: So for those of you who do not watch the TV show Project Runway, there’s a part of every show where the models are getting their makeup done, and there are shameless product promotions of everything from hair care to cosmetics. I usually roll my eyes at the blatant name dropping, ignoring most of what is said and believing even less. Until now. On one show the makeup artist was using this brand of mascara, and made the comment that it made the model’s lashes look like she was wearing false eyelashes. They showed a close-up of the model, and it did make her lashes look longer. So, always on the lookout for good mascara, I tried this ..and I LOVE it!! I’m an older gal and my lashes have seemed to have gotten less and thinner over the years, but let me tell you — this mascara actually makes it looks like I’m wearing false eyelashes!! My thin nearly invisible lashes were instantly longer, thicker, fuller and way more noticeable. I could not believe the difference. (And no, I am not a paid rep of the product or company!) This mascara is simply awesome! They should just re-brand it as “Magic Mascara for Almost Invisible Lashes!” Thanks, Project Runway, for your product promotion, because without it, I’d still be searching for the perfect mascara. : )

Review: I’m actually very surprised at how much I love this. I have short, sparse, and blonde eyelashes. I have tried practically every mascara under the sun and few have made a difference. This lengthened and volumized my lashes noticeably- without looking clumpy or flaking off. In comparison, I bought NARS climax mascara last weekend and the Maybelline volum’ Express blew it out of the water. This is better than too faced and Clinique, pretty close to urban decay perversion, and 100% better than NARS. Try it, you can’t beat the price.

Title: Pretty standard mascara, no complaints
Review: Honestly I’m more and more inclined to believe that most mascaras are created equal and that my eyelashes are the culprit for frustrations with the way different formulas go on. Having said that, this one is pretty good.I am perfectionistic about the way my lashes look, both in volume and separation. The look of my lashes in the attached image is from about 25 minutes of working on them until I got the look I wanted. The formula is a nice consistency, not too dry while applying, but doesn’t take too long to dry after you’re done. It holds curl well (so far) and the brush is a nice size/shape and really does seem to catch all your lashes very well.

Title: Best mascara out there
Review: My new fav mascara. I’ve been using for a while now and am obsessed. It takes longer to try than others so I just use a blow dryer on cook to blow dry my lashes UP. It keeps the height..a little secret that works wonders! Slighty hard to remove but not because it’s tough, just alot to get off sometimes..

Title: I really wanted to like it more but…
Review: I like the effect and volume this mascara gives me but my lashes tend to droop and lose their curl with certain mascaras. This mascara does not hold the curl in my lashes at all really and actually seems to make my lashes droop faster, even though I use a lash curler every time I apply mascara. I love Maybelline but this mascara was just okay for me. This mascara makes my lashes look really full, fluffy, and pretty but since it makes my lashes droop it just isn’t worth it for me. My eyes don’t look as open or “pop” as much when my lashes droop. My lashes have decent length already so my outer corner bottom and top lashes actually tangle and pull on each other sometimes (hopefully that makes sense) and it is very annoying throughout the day which is why I curl them, so when this mascara makes my lashes droop, they end up tangling during the day again. I also noticed it flakes a bit. Therefore, I highly suggest the Covergirl lashblast volume or Loreal Lash Paradise mascara. They both are AMAZING. I really love them! They lengthen, volumize, and define and fan my lashes out really well. There is no flaking or smudging either. They coats/reaches every lash and hold a curl very nicely. They do absolutely everything I want a mascara to do. The only difference between the two really is how buildable they are. The CoverGirl one is more buildable and you can control how natural or dramatic you want the lashes to look (that mascara can build up a lot and get pretty dramatic) while you can’t build the Loreal one up as much. The loreal one does add volume more quickly tho but that can make it a tad clumpy since it builds fast; this is great tho if you like to sweep mascara on fast in the morning. Overall, I think you will be much better off with either of my other 2 suggestions.

Title: Love for everyday
Review: I’ve tried many mascaras but I always come back to this one. The brush and formula are perfect for getting volume and length. Although I already have nearly long dark lashes this mascara really helps my eye look awake and pop. I’ve tried the waterproof formula is almost too good to take off at night, I pulled out too many of my lashes. I’d rather stick to the original that still last.
