Review: i use this hair dryer when we are boondocking in the RV with limited electric (using generator). This is powerful enough to dry my hair quickly IMO. (I have thick long hair). I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it! It doesn’t get so hot its burning my head, but it does the job in decent time.

Review: This is the second one I purchased. The first one was starting to fail after five years of daily use. My wife has thick hair, so it gets quite a workout!The temperature control, and blower output are perfect. She doesn’t use the attachments, but I’m sure they’re useful!

Title: Pretty Powerful Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Dual Voltage for Travel
Review: I bought this hairdryer for an international trip. It has tourmaline ceramic, which I like because it always dries my hair more quickly, and makes it shine more, and, therefore, a must have for me. I also wanted turbo which my home hair dryer has, but could not find one in a travel size with dual voltage and tourmaline/ceramic. Even though it doesn’t have turbo, the Berta seemed to have plenty of power to do the job I needed. It’s wasn’t noticeable quieter, as advertised, but it wasn’t particularly noisy either. So, all in all, I found it to be a pretty good travel dual voltage hair dryer, at not too high a price. It’s not tiny, but it was small enough. The handle twists to lay flat against dryer, and the cord was a pretty good length. The only problem or complaint I have with it, is that the air concentrator kept falling off whenever I would even a little hit it against something, so that was quite annoying. They delivered it to me within 2 days with Prime, so I was able to take it on my trip to Europe. One caution: It’s very difficult to turn (change) the voltage, the button being very small and tight, so change it at home using a small screw driver before travelling internationally, or take the screw driver with you. I almost stripped out the ridge trying to get it turned. It’s fairly light weight, which was nice. For this reason, I considered using it regularly at home, but I love my Conair turbo too much.

Title: Purchased 2015 and still going 2024
Review: I purchased this hair dryer in 2015. It is still drying hair and is the best dryer I’ve had. The infrared light doesn’t always come now, but it still dries my hair and I have not had heat damage. In consideration of its age and my current needs, I wish I could shrink this dryer into a travel size dryer. But other than that, I like my dryer alot as it continues to dry my hair up to this day 12/4/24. I can’t speak for others, but the dryer purchased and received in 2015 by me still works to my satisfaction. If anything changes, I will post it.

Title: Did its job for about two years
Review: I liked that this hairdryer was small. It dried my hair as well as a larger dryer and wasnât too loud. I used the cool shot button a lot. It lasted around two years then died and smoke came out of both ends. Considering I was using the cool shot at the time, it didnât overheat, just burned out. But for the price I suppose I canât complain, although I was hoping it would last longer as I used low and cool shot so much so it didnât have as much stress on it as it could have. I just bought a different brand off Amazon to replace it.

Title: Best blow dryer I’ve ever owned!
Review: I have been barbering for 30 years and have gone through dozens of blow dryers. This is the best blow dryer I have ever owned! It’s not too loud, it uses infrared ion technology that you can see when you look in the nozzle as it heats up. But it doesn’t get too hot! I can blow dry longer here with a vent brush or round brush rather quickly. I can also use the high heat and high volume to blow dry flat tops. Can’t say enough about this blow dryer! Have the nine foot cord.

Title: Better than expected!
Review: There were so many great reviews of this hair dryer and I was a bit skeptical since I thought that my hair dryer was the best that ever lived. However, that one died and it’s no longer made so I had to find a new one. First off, the price was right for a higher end dryer, but there was even a coupon on Amazon that day so it made the price much sweeter!This size of this dryer is just perfect. It’s smaller than I’m used to which is much appreciated since I always travel with my hair dryer. It has this nice soft touch to it and has just the right amount of weight – not heavy or too light. It has a long cord with the velcro strap to make it easy to put away without having the wrap the cord around the barrel.Lastly, it does wonders for my hair! The negative ions really do make a difference, it’s not just hokey pokey. My hair is so much smoother using this dryer compared to my last one. Immediately I can see that I’m not having as many flyaways and my hair is overall more smooth and shiny. Very impressed. Thanks, MHU!

Review: Im a guy and have a disconnected undercut that’s a little on the longer side and was using a 20 dollar Conair hairdryer for a while that wouldn’t maintain airflow very well and it took me 10 minutes to dry my hair, which is a LONG time for such short hair. Fed up, I asked my stylist what kind of hairdryer I got and she introduced me to the world of ionizing hairdryers and found this guy on sale, figured anything would be better, but this hairdryer totally blew my expectations out of the water, it has so much functionality and my hair feels really healthy and it doesn’t burn my scalp when I use it. My hair is really shiny and smooth and dries in about 2 minutes just on warm on high, I also find the cold setting on this hairdryer actually goes cold which helps set my hair way better (I have a troublesome double crown that parts the side of my hair in a weird way). I would have never guessed a hairdryer would improve my hair health so much but I can’t recommend this product enough, certainly worth the investment!

Review: My thick, coarse hair needs a powerful blow dryer. This one, at a great price, is very fast and provides good smoothing results. I’ll use it as a back-up to my more expensive dryer. I will also pack this one for the cottage or if I think a hotel won’t provide a good dryer. However, as others have noted, it’s not really a lightweight travel dryer. Also, I’ve learned that dual-voltage blow dryers won’t work on the higher speed when you transfer to European use, so you will never be able to take advantage of full (fast) drying power if you take it abroad. Probably best to pick up a cheap drugstore brand when you get there!

Review: We had this hair dryer for about a year and a half and it suddenly stopped working and smelled like burning while my wife was using it.I opened it up myself and cleaned the rotor(had carbon buildup) and motor brushes with electrical contact cleaner and a rag. While I was there I removed hair that jammed around the shaft of the fan because they has went trough the filter (By the way the filter is a joke. It doesn’t prevent hair or dust from passing trough and we never has to clean it in 18 months).I put the parts all back together and it works again. The burning smell was coming from the heating element working without the fan and probably burning hair residue.The motor brushes had about 60% of life left, I would expect this dryer to last maybe another 2 year before it dies.Performance of this dryer is good. The blower moves alot of air, but that is because there barely is restriction on the filter.For this price, its a good buy. Many hair dryers nowadays only last about 2-3 years anyways.
