Okay, this was in 1987. I booked this gig as one of the principal dancers. It was held LIVE at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey and televised LIVE on NBC network on Sept. 19.
Behind The Wings: This was the Opening Production Number. I took my stance waiting for the music to kick in, in front of a LIVE packed audience and about to be televised for millions to be watching. I was trembling in the inside, thinking to myself, what the f*#k I’m doing out here, I’m not supposed to be here I’m from the Projects. But, once the music kicked in the athlete in me took over and it was time to take over. ONELOVE.
