I say great advice coming from this beautiful young lady who walked away with the crown and title of Miss Universe 2011 on Monday, September 12th. Kudos to the judges for actually getting it right. Not that the other contestants were not wonderful candidates but standing next to Leila they did look a bit cloned from the same Barbie doll mold, so how refreshing to look at a truly natural beauty. When asked by the judges what physical triat she could change , she deftly relpied and I quote, “Thank God I’m very satisfied with the way God created me and I wouldn’t change a thing,” Lopes said. “I consider myself a woman endowed with inner beauty. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family and I intend to follow these for the rest of my life.
In any event, if you didn’t know much about Angola, Leila’s win will put that country in the spot light and maybe educate us about the struggles of its peoples. Angola, officially the Republic of Angola , is a country in south-central Africa and like most African countries it deals with poverty, corruption and high infant mortality rates. New allegations against the winner of the Miss Universe competition claim that Miss Angola, Leila Lopes, falsified documents to enter and win a qualifying contest in England.
The Miss Universe pageant said they will comment on the matter sometime today.
