Let’s talk about the Good, the Bad and the Fabulous things that happened at Miss Earth 2022…
NOTE: There are a couple of notes that our YouTube livestream above didn’t record and was cut… I’ve included the points down below…
* First is that because the Miss Earth pageant is serving a unique advocacy, there lies their limitations in terms of the participants in the national pageant of Miss Philippines Earth. There is a need to partner with other pageant organization to level up its pool of candidates. But this problem offers another set of challenges as because of the nature of the pageant, partnering with other national pageant organization might not be a great fit. Perhaps the best answer to this is for the Miss Philippines Earth become a different format to that of Miss Earth so that it becomes an entity of its own rather being constantly at the shadow of its bigger sister.
* And lastly, for the Miss Earth pageant community as a whole to grow itself and become a larger community of individuals that welcomes and actively recruit foreign supporters for the pageant. This also means to invite dialogue to people who aren’t aware of the pageant and stop engaging with haters and detractors. Stop being apologetic for what Miss Earth isn’t and instead expand other people’s knowledge of what it stands for. There is no need to be defensive as well to what the pageant is because it does not help the pageant’s cause.

James Deakin actually did rephrased the question for Colombia at the get-go. He made it clear enough that he meant "correct" so it was made clear for Miss Colombia.

If you want more up-close photos of the pageant during the show, get a better camera with a zooming lens.
MOA Arena is way better than The Cove. I mean they are not even comparable when it comes to stage/production/LED and crowd aura.
I agree that the LED panels on the side were not big enough but it might come down to the budget. Miss Earth does not and has never had the same budget as Miss Universe.
I agree that Filo time is an embarrassment for the world. This culture of the Philippines should be abolished ASAP.
The stage and production was really good. And the camera angles were better than 2019 but it could've been better.
Solution: Less pre-pageant activities and more time on rehearsals for coronation night.
The animal sounds in the opening number was not good at all. It was good in the virtual events but not during the live show.
During the long-break, maybe show some of the candidate's eco-videos rather than listening to Angelia, Nellys and Karen for 30-45 minutes.
The best Top 4 in Miss Earth history was probably in 2013, 2016 or 2019
