1997 was a busy year for Kalani Productions. In less than a year, I managed to record National Entertainer of the Year, Miss Gay Black America, Miss Black America at Large, and obviously, Miss Florida National, owned by the late Keith Allen. Mark and I had made a lot of friends in the pageant world, and some how, we managed to get booked for this pageant. We stayed with Allanah Starr and Sunny Deelite in Miami.
