The 3rd runner-up was Miss Jax., FL in 2000. She was paid to come to an event, wearing her crown so that little girls could get their pic taken with her, but showed up blandly dressed with NO CROWN! She said she "forgot it." Pathetic, imo! She let a lot of girls down, so her not winning this is karma.
She was a phenomenal Miss Maryland! I love her evening gown and she wore it at Miss America too!
