What's your opinion on the controversy of Miss Teen USA's word choice on social media? I feel like people are bashing her too much, but sometimes I can also see where the critics are kind of right.

Hi,
I have noticed that there was a different crown this year. I thought they will continue the crown that Katherine wore, and the crown shares similarity with MissUSA and MissUniverse crowns.
I have seen a lot of social media about 1) Lack of any form of diversity in the top 5 and 2) Something from the twitter of Texas from years about using the N word. Sad that she is going to be starting her rein with already so much negativity from the public but I called her from the beginning, though I was definitely routing for California. Do you feel the white washed her out because she wasn't tan enough?

I called Texas! I need to start putting money on these things lol. I was not a fan of south Carolina dress :s
I wanted Georgia or California to win but I'm glad Texas won. She seems really genuine and sweet and I love her platform. I didn't have her in my top 15 when I saw the prelims last night and it's kind of fun when someone comes out of no where for me and wins! I didn't care for Texas's dress. I wasn't crazy about the shape and the tiered layers. I'm just not a fan of that look but she was very beautiful! I was really surprised Mississippi didn't place. She's 6'1 and gorgeous and I thought Delaware was beautiful too but I really didn't care for her dress. It was very high in the neck and just looked odd to me. I also didn't care for South Carolina's dress. I didn't think it was appropriate for evening wear but I think it's a kind of dress you love or hate and I'm very traditional. Lol. I honestly think if she didn't kind of stumble on her question she might have won the whole thing because I think the judges really liked her and her dress. But I'm glad Texas won. I think she's going to be a great role model for teens and young women to look up to! And even though I didn't care for the shape of her dress, with that yellow and her ponytail she reminded me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast!
