LENI ROBREDO'S COA AUDIT
-Despite having the highest audit rating in government the Office of the Vice President (OVP) was still flagged by the Commission on Audit (COA) for its slow use of medical assistance program funds which could have aided more people.
OVP certainly has the highest audit rating for the past three years. But the question is where are the remaining 3 years to complete the 6 years?
Let me explain something!
1. COA flags the OVP's slow use of medical funds
-According to COA's audit report of the OVP for 2019 dated Friday, the office still has yet to utilize its P122.8 million pending medical assistance program (MAP) funds for 2019 -now totaling at P195 million -which could have facilitated financial aid for hospitalized indigents all over the country.
-The 2019 elections being an issue was confirmed by COA in the same report, citing that OVP failed to get an exemption from the Commission on Elections on expenditures.
-Still, COA advised OVP to smoothen processes to facilitate a quicker transfer of MAP funds, to which the latter adhered by doing a shift from giving out cash-based grants to just guarantee letters.
2. COA flags underspending by OVP as Robredo now one year in office
-THE OFFICE of the Vice-President (OVP) in 2016 spent only 59.42% of its appropriated budget for financial assistance to indigent Filipinos, according to a report by the Commission on Audit (CoA).
-According to its annual audit report, the OVP spent only P130,693,992.76 of P219,963,992.76-less than two-thirds of its appropriated budget to provide assistance to indigenous peoples.
-The CoA also said cash advances amounting to P185,826.74 were not settled or liquidated within the prescribed period.
-The CoA likewise noted the OVP’s delay in the submission of financial reports and documents for 2016.
This is the answer to why for the past 3 years the OVP has the highest audit ranking because they are recovering from the remaining 3 years of improper spending in the allotted budget.

Hi Ovela. On your previous posts about politics in the Philippines, I noticed that most of the comments in the comment section are pro BBM and are angry and against Leni. Now I am seeing Leni Robredo supporters (YEY) because you reacted to a video that will really help the filipino people for the right candidate. But BBM loyalist will not listen to that sad to say. They were so solid to BBM that they were betraying the country. Those qualities that Catriona stated did not even reach what BBM has.
Thank God celebrities like her are not that influencial anymore at least in the political landscape in PH.

Miss Gray is entitled to her own political opinion BUT as expected, she is siding with VP Robredo because they belong to the same ethnic group and as she works for ABS CBN her Presidential candidate if she wins in the election becomes an instrument for the ABS CBN to get back to operation again even if obviously it did not honestly settle its tax issues unlike other TV stations in the Philippines.
I think the good example should start with the candidates. " IKA NGA NILA KUNG ANO ANG PUNO SIYA RIN ANG BUNGA" so if your candidate is a person full of HATE and ANGER, that will probably reflect on his or her supporters and that's where fanaticism will appear.
You can campaign without other people being destroyed, right ??

But if they are focusing the capability of being Presidente they should research also the capability of BBM. Alam natin lahat that BBM is capable and Leni is no t bec. Of her knowledge is critical.the way leni answered questions..so embarras.
