  1. I'm from Russia and I don't understand why the fans of the contest, which is aimed at uniting all countries of the world in such difficult times, are against Russia's participation. The girls who represent Russia are not to blame that their president is an idiot and are not responsible for his actions. I am against war and Putin and I don't understand why girls and Russian fans of contests should suffer and give up their dreams.

  2. Prediction of Miss Russia :
    Unplaced – 80%
    Top 16 / 20 – 20%
    Top 10 – 0%
    Top 5 – 0%
    Top 3 – 0%
    Sash Factor – 5%

Although she is beautiful , I think she will not place because she will lost her spark and personality when competing in Miss Universe which happens to all the winners of Miss Russia who went unplace . If she wants her country to place , she must have an advocacy or awareness ~~ maybe the war of her country Russia and Ukraine that is still happening recently because this is their major problem . Most of all , she must improve her catwalk and interview skills .

  3. Here the thing… I get that the Russian government, specifically Putin, is responsible for the war of Ukraine. However, the Russians themselves shouldn't be condemned because there are Russians within the country are against Putin's war. According to a video in NBC on Feb. 25 this year, there are protests in more than 50 Russian cities, they say that it's a tragedy and are also scared for their relatives in Ukraine.

IDK about the current Miss Russia, but I should not just slam her and angrily call the MUO to ban Russia from competing, because that's immature. Just because she's from Russia, that does not mean I have to shame her all because the war. Let's give her a chance.

  4. The last time Russia placed at MU was in 2012 (final years of Trump era). So far they sent beautiful ladies but kept on unplaced due to lack of x-factor and personality just shown at Alina's journey at 69th MU?

  6. Please don’t hate on any country just because that’s where they are from. China had it in 2020 and so many other countries have had it in previous years, but the whole point of Miss Universe is about coming together as one.

  7. I am surprised that the licence holder or the Miss Russia Organisation or its benefical owners are not a sanction subject under the US's Office of Foreign Assets Control but maybe it will happen soon, in a matter of time. Regardless, even long before the current Ukrainian war, Russia's sash is a pariah in the current IMG era. For as long as they keep on sending the same prototype (pretty Russian doll who is stiff, rehearsed, pageant patty and can't speak English), they will continue to clap.
