The title is so misleading. I thought she was fired as Miss Universe Thailand.
I think a beaut queen has the right to express her opinions or beliefs. she can say anything she wants to say and support any beliefs she may have. However, she should also be prepared for any conflicts or disagreements with her organization, pageants fan and her sponsors. she has the right and freedom to be herself, but at the same, her organization and sponsors also have the right to disagree with her or even fire her if they belief something different.
She's over confidence that's why she's fired.

Philippines' Rabiya Matteo suffered a little bit the same thing by disagreeing to the president who said women cannot lead. Though the difference was she was just bashed online. And this b*itch, Jam Magno kept on bullying her and even said Rabiya would be nothing against Amanda, and yet eventually Amanda also expressed her opinion towards the government.

I do agree with you this time Dani, what people tends to forget is that once you become a title holder you have a responsibility to represent the whole nation regardless of your political opinion, you represent both the left and the right. You can't defend one side while offending the other side. That's why its a huge responsibility. Aside from that you have to promote peace and harmony between your people as a title holder not to divide them. As for Amanda although she has her own opinion but a lack of foresight on her part will jeopardize not just her title but her whole career and family. There are so many ways that you can express yourself without offending others but at the same time you can create positivity and friendship. Goodluck to her.

As A Thai people, I would like to give you a fact information about this issue. Actually she has been doing this project before she got the crown and became one of the ambassasor for Department of Mental Health. Just bcuz the project she was working on is in line with what The Department of Mental Health did. That's why they invited Amanda to take part in the campaign. You are right!! That organization is a part of Thai government.
This isn't the first time Amanda has posted about politics on social media. She actually did this since she was not named Miss Thailand Universe. But because of her being famous so that's making her voice bigger and it was an issue that caused them to remove her from Ambassador. All of these informations are fact!!! It was so funny that they said they removed her out of the ambassador. Actually It is her own project since she wasnt crown as a MUT 2020.
For people who don’t understand the situation in Thailand right now.
This is not about the strategy for more attention but it is about being a human.
Amanda just stated her opinion which is “How can we talk about love when there is violence on the street” when the police hurt the people who gathered unarmed on the street for democracy. We have been fighting for our lives, our dreams, and our future that have been stolen for a long time. Amanda choose to stand by us and not protecting her title at all because she listens to us. The thing is her statement is something the government don’t want us to speak it out loud. As you might read the news about our PM sprayed alcohol to the press in their faces without knowing the harm of it, making fun and never apologize (He once said to the press that the people out there annoying him and never truly listen to us like Amanda did) – this is what the government do to us all in Thailand for 7 years. They – the elites – take the advantages from us and never see us as human like them. So the situation is deeper that what should or should not do when you are the title holder, but it is what should or shouldn’t do when you are the human who respect for each others and human rights.
As a Thai who suffers from the political situation, I wish many of you would understand us.

As a title holder you cannot just spout your opinion and your opinion cannot be biased because you will end up turning 50% of people off that do not feel the same way. I believe there are always two side of any story so therefore your opinion must be neutral because you represent all people.

Being a title holder doesn't give you the opportunity to state personal opinion that favors yourself or majority but it's how you balance and unite people despite of their differences.

With the political issue in Thailand right now, a title holder like Amanda came out to callout the violence the government has done to the people who speak their thoughts against the government and the royalty. This action of her caused the mental health organisation which is a government agency decided not to proceed with the mental health project they and Amanda had discussed previously. This issue of Amanda speaking out and was refused from a government agency has proved that there is really a problem in the society. And I think Amanda is doing the right thing calling out things that are injustice. She is using her voice to try to make a difference, calling help for small people in the society who have no voice and being violated their human right. She does her duty as a true queen instead of just staying quiet just to be safe and keep doing makeup tutoring or fashion photoshoot only. This should even be her advantage in the international stage rather than a disadvantage in my opinion.
