Terri is the best Miss USA in the history of the pageant! She was real and sincere not to mention classy and beautiful with a Princess Di look that made her look absolutely regal. She deserved the crown and she represented the USA beautifully that year. How can anyone not love her? She's exquisite!

sorry the 2005 was a typo. And you're right, tara may not have been either at that specific time, but she stated she had an alcohol and drug problem. I don't think it really matters either way

@RDOUGLASB to each their own, but let me point out a few things. Shannon Marketic who won in 1992 qualified last in the prelims at Miss USA, and she looked horrid at Miss Universe. Kimberly pressler and shantay hinton didn't even place in 1999 and 2001. Kelli McCarty 1991 is now a porn star, Tara Conner was on drugs and alcohol when she won in 2005. So I don't see how you can possibly put Terri as our worst Miss USA
what a reaction is right, if only the title meant as much to others as it did to her. I'm so happy she won, and she was a wonderful Miss USA. It was probably one of the most unlikely outcomes, but she's not the first to have beaten the odds. Just beautiful

@RDOUGLASB: Miss Arkansas won Miss USA 1982 because in the final answer segment, she gave the best answer. I am from Texas and when Miss Texas gave her horrible answer, I said "she just lost." Miss Texas was nice looking but dumber than a picket fence.
