  1. I thought DC and Missouri gave the best answer. West Virginia her answer was a little shaky. New Mexico also a little shaky. Tennessee was good. Overall, I'd pick Missouri as Miss USA with WV as first runner-up.

  2. "Don't correct the MC Miss Missouri" … those old days when partriachy values could not be tested, even when there was no test … just a young girl telling Bob Barker the right "runner up" number … but I guess a young girl has no right to tell a "TV legend" he also makes mistakes on TV … Oh well … Men's insecurities being broadcast on TV with a smile on everybody faces … 1984 was really a complete different planet to today for sure.

  3. 39 Years Ago Mai Therese Shanley Fitzgerald of Alamogordo was a 21-year-old New Mexico State University education major.
She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weights 117 pounds she has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. When she was winning crowned Miss USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 1984 on May 17, 1984. THAT'S BECAUSE MY YEAR WAS BORN 1984 RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!! BUT I WAS BORN IN MY HOMETOWN SPRINGFIELD, TENNESSEE FROM MY COUNTRY RIGHT HERE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! GOD!!!!!!!! 😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

  4. Julie should of been miss universe, Lorraine looked like a child and Julie was a woman. Lorraine was so shy. Miss universe catered to more innocent girls, that’s why usa has so many runner ups. Julie, Judi, Amanda and Deborah all should of won but lost to Miss Universe winners

  5. Oregon and West Virginia would of been great honestly for a change, we hardly see them place anymore and both of those girls were just so beautiful
