I miss the 80's and 90's pageantry.
Miss Teen USA had the opportunity to compete in Miss USA, but the age range was completely different compared with a girl of 21-25 years of age. It’s only the experience, if Alison Brown was able to compete in Miss USA 1991 she would had been the winner! 🥲
Watching this is like I'm in 1987. and I realized that these ladies are now moms/aunts. They are all gorgeous. ♥️🇺🇲
I wonder what they were after, after the contend for the crown.
And I think the MUO should bring back the traditional crowning moment where the reigning queen sits on her throne and then when she passed the crown the new queen will sit on it.

This has to be one of the best Miss USA pageants EVER! perhaps other than 1990 and 1993. Though I thought Arizona deserved to win this year, and West Virginia was really underrated! Such a beauty.
Texas was a good contestant but overscored. Georgia or Arizona are the only two that would have competed with Cecilia Bolocco at Miss Universe 1987
I love how those sailors looked at these beautiful girls. I really liked that they sang well-known pop songs, but they did a great job and I think that today is missed.. IMHO!

FL, AZ, and GA were all beautiful. Not sure what the judges saw in TX, but her placement at MU proved them correct. AZ wore the same gown as Jineane Ford wore in 1980. It worked for both of them.

Arizona was the best! 1987 and 1988 were the best shows ever! I wish the org. bring back those kind of productions. Today's contest is boring, meaningless, cheap, without impressive scenery as before, not even the contestants do a show, rather they look like soldiers taken from a camp.

This is the first time i'm watching this and i'm rooting for Arizona after the 3 competitions..
Evening gown belonged to Miss Florida and then Miss Arizona! Miss Florida's gown is the only one that 33 years later could be worn in a pageant today and not look dated.
