@lexlib Illinois gown was awful, the color alone was terrible.
@ridgefidge Absolutely. This dress was amazing as was she. This is the closest Oklahoma ever got. Jill did this state proud, and did well at Miss World. I know just recently Oklahoma got 1st runner up again, but I think Jill was closer to it. Had Texas not been so powerful in the late 80's Oklahoma would have had their first Miss USA

after watching this clip again, i'm just beginning to apprecaite Oklahoma's gown. with a little teweaking it may still work today.
oh yes. Illinois and Oklahoma in 1985 had a gown that was way ahead for its time. just can't understand why Illinois ended 10th in that category.
miss texas's gown is the only one that can be used at present. pennsylvania looks like one that will be worn by a bridesmaid
