Cheslie Kryst, who won the Miss USA sash in 2019, has died after a fall from her high-rise Manhattan apartment building. She was 30.
Her family confirmed Krystâs death in a Sunday statement. âHer great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength,â it read. âShe cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.â The family said that the pageant-winner had âembodied love and served othersâ and that âher impact will live on.â
Her body was found on the sidewalk outside the Orion Condominium building in Midtown just after 7 a.m. Kryst lived on the ninth floor of the building, according to the New York Post. She was last seen on a terrace 29 stories above the ground.
Though her family did not provide a cause of death, sources in the New York Police Department have confirmed that Kryst had died by suicide, according to the Post and The Hollywood Reporter. The Post reported that Kryst had left behind a note leaving her possessions to her mother.
âMay this day bring you peace and rest,â Kryst wrote in an Instagram caption posted just hours before her fatal fall.

If you read her post on Instagram she said she was petrified of getting older and hated that she was in her 30's. Also I'm sure there where camera's all around that they checked out. If u look at the Orion building website 29th Floor has a Recreation Room, Public Gym, swimming pool, and Laundromat she could not be the only one there it makes no sense!

If this is her body in above video it looks like rigor mortis already set in it looks like she was thrown from the 29th Floor Balcony of Orion Building, 350 W42nd st already dead! Something is definitely off! Nothing about this whole thing doesnât make sense! She wrote a will? She was an attorney so why would she write pen and paper? A suicide note usually has a goodbye message! I keep feeling there was either brain damage, drugged, or she had dirt on someone!

Dear God how horrifying. I'm so sorry for her parents.
Hereâs my problem. Sheâs an Attorney and her note simply said, âI leave everything to my motherâ. That leaves an open interpretation that she could inadvertently pass on her debt as well. Would an Attorney be that vague? Most people would have said âall my worldly possessionsâ, âall of my assetsâ… wouldnât an Attorney have used more formal terminology?
The weird thing for me about this young lady supposedly taking her own life is the manner in which she did it. Women tend to use less violent ways when they commit suicide, for example drugs or carbon monoxide. Throwing yourself off a building is a violent way to die.
If she was talking about suicide awareness in the past, wouldnât she have practiced what she preached?
Did anyone actually see the girl jump? If there were no witnesses at all, why is everyone and the media claiming that she jumped? Has anyone ever thought that maybe the poor girl might have slipped and fell off the balcony? Maybe she went to the balcony to get fresh air or get a nice view of the city, then could have accidentally leaned over the balcony a little bit too far then boom, she accidentally fell to her death, then the media jumps into conclusion and says suicide and we ride right along with it! She had everything going for her, I donât think she would deliberately leave this earth and put her loved ones in grief
