Here are the Miss USA 2023 contestants that really caught my attention. To be clear, the contestants in this episode are not necessarily my overall preliminary picks. In fact some of my personal favorites aren’t in this episode. I solely placed contestants in this episode because I liked their overall image.
I’ve included a top 15, but I am not sure what the first semi-finalist cut will look like at Miss USA this year. I’m so excited to tune into the Layla Rose era of Miss USA. I hope the competition will be glamorous and exciting! Stay tuned for more Miss USA episodes, and of course lots of Miss Universe content this season.

A lot of the other influences are picking NY for the win but I'm all in with NC.

And I noticed that like "hazzy" look too. Alot on Illinois, Alaska, Connecticut, Indiana….if you look at the pics on the girls page it's not fuzzy so it's the USA pagent website or something which is totally a disservice and should 100% not be like that.
I'm partial to Illinois because I actually know Samantha….but Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hamp, North Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, and California…would be my Top 10 headshots.

My favorite is New York by a mile.
But otherwise, I love Nevada, Utah, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, Nebraska, Texas

IMO, Miss Utah reminds me a lot of Baylee Jensen, Miss Utah 2017.
They all have heavy duty face makeup, foundation, highlighter, etc., hair extensions, eyeliner, shadow, and false eyelashes. What happened to naturally pretty girls, not overly done and airbrushed into a “non-human”realm?!!
