Miss USA is being held in Reno Tahoe again and I have some thoughts about this. Hopefully the info I’ll share in the show will help you decide if you’d like to attend the show in person this year.

  1. Just watch this video, my opinion is Miss USA changed a lil bit (or lot) since Crystle become the president, the way Miss USA didn't get enough promotion through the whole states keep me questioning "why?" I mean this is "USA". That's one, second is we can't afford the official platform for broadcasting the show since most of the viewers came from other countries,I just miss how it used to live on YouTube for FREE. I think this two thing is what bothering me rn….

  2. Thanks for your commentary. Was going to go this year, but decided not to. Maybe will go to Miss Universe? Anywho, can you please think about going to a future Miss USA and having a dinner or gathering for pageant fans?! It would be so fun!!!!

  3. I would rather visit the Reno wildlife refuge, Animal Ark, for a day and maybe see wolves, jaguars, or Jane Goodall than watch appearance pageants walk on a stage. I'm not certain why you expect an experience to be tailored for you. Perhaps if you're paying exorbitant fees to be part of the pageant, you could use those for a vacation instead

  4. Reno might not be the best place to have done it, but all I know is I'm super excited because I actually get to go this year! Also, I was sure something like not getting booked might happen, so I got my room at the Grand Sierra booked about three weeks ago haha!

  5. I like that they are taking it to the very stage Cheslie was crowned on. That is super special. But I agree about how the girls may not have cool experiences they would in other places. Miss USA in Reno was the only one I’ve ever attended so I have nothing to compare it to. But I loved the room I had at the Grand Sierra. It was beautiful and everyone that I interacted with was super sweet.

  6. In my perspective, having the beauty pageant in Reno sounds boring!
The Miss USA organization should think about having San Francisco to be the host city. There is many stuff to do for the contestants, many venues ex Mascone Center or Bill Graham Theater, and the production team will have fun recording footage of the contestants.

  7. exciting to see 3 Filipinas competing for Miss USA….what I noticed for Miss USA is that they don't have enough time for the next Miss USA to prepare for Miss Universe….other contestant for Miss Universe done practicing already while Miss USA contestant is just preparing for their finals

  8. I don't know if you will agree but if MS , UNIVERSE is held in the USA boring for a lot of fans , but maybe exciting for the Foreign delegates.

  9. Dani really love your analysis and content, your amazing analysis is what keep me supporting this channel, you competed in IMG era?. I doubt sometime to make my comments, because I have strong opinions many times. In this case I only go to say that the Miss USA and Miss Universe golden years are behind, and people is not so interested anymore in this kind of events, and you can see in the venues, sponsor and as I discussed in your previous post, MU activities are not was used to be

  10. hi i live in reno and yes it a little boring but there are some things to do maybe when you come try going to the eddy the riverwalk is nice and has some great restaurants try the storehouse cafe the food and the atmosphere is awesome also if youre here pn a friday foodtruck friday at idelwild park the art museum downtown is great and there is always the sculpture walk

  11. Reno local here; go to midtown! If you like the Eddy, midtown's entire vibe is like that. Most of the businesses along virginia street have the back of their buildings painted by local graffiti artists which is kinda cool.
Downtown is run down & gross; you're right, there is nothing new or unique here really. πŸ˜†πŸ˜
If you make it, let me know & I'll buy you a drink at reno's boggiest bar, Rum, Sugar, Lime.

  12. You were been to Reno a few times as you last visited in 2019 during Miss USA. Alabama 2018 Hannah Brown was away from filming of her season of The Bachelorette when Miss USA 2019 event happened.

  13. My suggestions for host cities are San Antonio, Texas, New Orleans, Orlando/Disney, Hollywood/LA, Miami, Washington, D.C., San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, Atlanta (not TPS), Nashville, Kansas City, Colorado Springs, Denver (skiing season), Hawaii, and maybe just Las Vegas. These places show off all the U.S. to the world and can offer more than Reno.

  14. I’ll tell you this, The Miss Universe organization has lost its SHOWMANSHIP after IMG took over. I’m not a fan of Donald Trump but i will say, those pageants saw their best years under his rule. Even Teen USA use to be fun to watch.

Furthermore, crowning the new Miss USA days before traveling to Miss Universe, is a terrible concept. Countries like Venezuela, Colombia and Philippines definitely have the upper hand with almost a full year of preparation for the final night.

I hope this pageant is reinvented. I use to be the biggest fan of the organization. Not anymore.
