Ruffa was the prettiest and most regal among the top 5, though miss jamaica nailed the evening gown and final question with very sincere and un rehearsed answer. besides it was rumoured that the organizers are really looking for a black queen worthy for the title that year, miss south Africa made history as the first black winner from South Africa because of this.

I just got a fresh of miss Jamaica crowing miss world 1993 .that I had missed she was yet one of the most beautiful crowned .yet another of jamaican variety of spices of beauty. Jamaica should be ecstatic overwhelming proud to be able to send different racial type of beautiful. Women to miss world contests .no jamaicas queen has the same familiar feature in facial structure skin tone overall. This places the emphasis on Jamaica's diversity. As a nation .making us proud showing the world in leading. Race isn't an issue. ..well done Jamaica
